The first episode of Work From Heart had just released on the 25th of August. If you liked director Hatairut Sunthornampai’s work in his other BL series Love With Benefits, you might enjoy this show as well. This Thai series is working with the same team as Love With Benefits, so there will definitely be some comparisons. Work From Heart would be a great watch if you want to take a break from work. As long as you’re not looking for something elaborate and complex, you can watch the series.
The protagonists of the drama series are two male leads named Dee and Knight, where Dee is played by Gameplay Garnapaphon Laolerkiat, and Knight is played by Folk Jakrin Sangruan. Other side characters starring are Party Watcharapol Nonpakdee as Boss Party, Thitiphong Phaophan as Mhu Yong, Ying Anada Prakobkit as Vivi, Jug Sirodom Lorkannapai as Nopphadol, Yardpirun Poolun as Chulee, Max Detter as Songthee, Frong Supachai Kaewmongkol as Fries or Frenchfries, May Pasthita Srisangchai as Heya, Tack Pharunyoo Rojanawuttitham as Thep, and Inky Nicha Chatchaiyadech as Yo-ye.
Fans were a bit skeptical about watching the series since it has been created by the same team that created Love With Benefits. The 2021 BL series Love With Benefits was not many people’s cup of tea. It has received a lot of criticism. Viewers have accused the series to have a lousy plotline, and the romance build-up seemed sketchy. Criticisms also poured in on the acting and directing skills. The characters lacked chemistry, and some parts felt like a stretch. What the viewers expected to be an entertaining watch turned out to be a disappointment. As a result, there is a fear that Work From Home might turn out the same. While some viewers are doubtful, some are willing to give it a try.

Is Work From Heart Worth A Watch?
Work From Heart creates a post-pandemic workplace scenario and addresses one of the many problems that the pandemic created in workplaces. So far, the series has provided a short synopsis.
Work From Heart opens where the world is waking up again after the pandemic. Stores, schools, and offices have just started to open up again. As their office opens again, the employees have a hard time getting used to the “new” work environment. To sprinkle some comedic scenes, Yong is caught filming a live video in the office. The comedic scenes are not overbearing, but the sound effects might be. In addition to the fun elements, the show has made efforts to give perspective to the LGBTQIA+ world by showing homosexual love parallel to heterosexual love.
The trailer shows that Dee is the new intern, full of hope for his future, and Knight helps him learn more about his job. However, as Knight and Dee begin to realize their love for each other, the viewers are introduced to another romantic interest Ohm. If you gave up halfway through watching the trailer, we suggest you go back and watch the rest. The first half might have lowered the expectations, but the last part redeems it.
A trailer isn’t the whole show, so it’s unfair to judge the series just by its trailer. If you want to judge for yourself, the series is ongoing right now on WeTV every Thursday till 15th September 2022.
