Love Island Season 10 Episode 17 will start with a date between Sammy and Mal. They will be fully vibing with each other on their date. So Sammy’s got a “Type” of the girl he likes: A short Brunette, and Mal fits Sammy’s type. Mal also has a “Type” of guy she likes: Tall, dark, and handsome. And Sammy thinks he is a tall, dark, and handsome guy, so they are both a fit for each other. Then Jess and Mitch will have their own friendly moment with each other.
Now what in the hell? I get it, I understand, but damn y’all. Love Island Season 10 Episode 16 wasn’t a crazy, hectic episode, but many establishing conversations happened, and the ending took me a bit off guard. I cannot lie to you.
So I don’t know what kind of show Sammy thinks he’s on, but he thinks he’s at the freaking build-a-bear workshop television series, where he’s going to take the face of one woman and the personality of another woman. And make them into a superwoman.
He genuinely thinks he has both these women in his hands like putty. And I’m just like, “Sir, you are sorely mistaken.” Because even though Jess is in the sunken place, Jess still has a pretty good read on what is going on with Sammy. And I think that because she’s at a loss of options, she’s leaning into a connection that she knows might not be the best for her.
Then with Leah, she wants to be where she’s wanted a little bit. A little bit of her likes to be in the competition, kind of like Molly. But at the end of the day, she wants to be chosen like most women do. And so, with Sammy being torn between two people, I’m sure she wouldn’t stick around for much longer with that. He’s just so annoying, and I can’t wait for him to go
Love Island Season 10 Episode 16 Recap & Review
Before diving into Love Island Season 10 Episode 17, let’s quickly recap and review the previous episode. Ella and Whitney take Jess aside to let her know that she might have to be concerned about how Sammy is moving with Leah. As we know, Jess has been feeling away about Sammy anyways, so this wasn’t shocking information to her. But I’m just like, and it sucks because Jess has had a hard time, and she’s already sad on the outside. She doesn’t have a tough finding guys and being the girl who’s always coupled up with somebody.
So being here is foreign territory to her. So, of course, if she has a connection with somebody, I feel like she’s the type to just see it through, even if she knows internally it’s not 100%. So they had a conversation, her and Sammy, and she folded so quick, and I’m like, damn. I hate this for Jess, but I understand why she’s in the position she’s in. A lot more happened in Episode 16, but let’s discuss when and what will happen in the release of Episode 17 of Love Island Season 10.

Love Island Season 10, Episode 17, will release on 22nd June 2023 on ITV2. In this episode, Jess talking with the girls. She will be upset that the Islanders pick her and Sammy as one of the least compatible couples in the villa. She thought that a lot more people were going to choose other couples over her and Sammy.
Then while crying, Jess will say to girls that even though she and Sammy had that little blip, she feels that the other girls would know better how much actually the two are compatible and how much they have actually going on on the outside and how much they have in common. I mean, that’s how Jess thinks, but it looks like Sammy doesn’t see their relationship in the same way.
Then Sammy will have an argument with Catherine about “a weird comment that Sammy made about the physical attraction between her and Scott.
