The winter season was a season of sequels, much like the summer one, it had a few new shows that stood, but the top ones were sequels.
However, there is one key point about the shows in Winter’s Top 10 Anime Of 2022 Version, they have heavy contenders for best anime of the year.
This is strange, to say the least, spring version also has good contenders for the best anime of the year. In just two seasons, it is hard to decide which anime will be the best, could this be a gold year for anime?
Putting aside our musings for who will come out top in the end (we dare say Crunchyroll will give us good winners), let’s focus on Winter’s Top 10 Anime Of 2022.
The seasons will be hard for people with backlogs or those who need a refresher for the past season. The new shows are few and far between, but they aren’t many. So grab your Pocky sticks as we present to you the top 10 anime of 2022- the winter version.
10. Teasing Master Takagi San Season 3:
The best stories are often the simple ones, and this show is a prime example of that. Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 3 continues on with the daily of our chibi characters and shows us how their struggles are in a new light.
Though most of it is much the same, the show still retains its vibe even after two seasons and a movie. Will we get a season 4 soon?
9. How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom Season 2
Isekai is too young to die. When everyone, including the creators, gets bored of OP protagonists, we get characters and settings like these that stand up above others.
Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki Part 2 starts off where the first season left off but with new challenges and bigger scope. Though, when will people question the study material that is taught in Japanese schools?
8. ORIENT
Okay, believe us on this one. It is by the creator of Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, and we feel more than sorrow for the show not getting the recognition it deserves.
We don’t want the cycle to repeat and let this one be forgotten as well. However, the show is fast-paced compared to the Arabian Night rendition of anime. Still, give it a chance; you won’t regret our pick of Winter’s Top 10 Anime Of 2022.

7. Sabikui Bisco
Back in the old days, when anime wasn’t mainstream, and there wasn’t a sense of what should be made or not, the medium was good in a different way.
Sabikui Bisco seemed to be straight out of that era and gave us a story that leaves us satisfied and wanting for there to be more. Though not a pick for the best anime, it definitely deserves the spot in the Top 10 Anime Of 2022 winter.
6. My Dress-Up Darling
Going by Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru in Japanese. The show needs no introduction; it was a weird show that managed to catch the attention of many. Statically speaking, it should be a third or fourth on the list, though we stuck to our tastes in the long run. Still, it is deserving of the sixth spot in Winter’s Top 10 Anime Of 2022.
5. ARIFURETA: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest
Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou 2nd Season, The series has become quite popular and has every right to be. The underdog protagonist will always be the staple in any medium; there is something about them we can just relate to despite our differences. But that alone doesn’t put this series in Winter’s Top 10 Anime Of 2022.
The plot thickens as Hajime is challenged further in his quest to become the top. The main focus of anime this time around is also on training while learning more about the world. Did we mention the show has three OVAs?
4. The Case Study Of Vanitas
Vampires will never go out of fashion, and Vanitas no Carte Part 2 is proof of that. The best part of the show is that it is still airing! The show airing format is a little different compared to the others. For starters, the story focuses not on one character but follows different characters’ perspectives.
Not something we have seen in a vampire anime or any vampire medium. The riveting tales of different characters and the lore of the world put the show in our Top 10 Anime Of 2022’s Winter.

3. Demon Slayer
Can’t really make a list without this one. Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen takes place after the events of the movie. Though, in all honesty, the anime is bittersweet to us at this stage.
The mangaka of the series had to wrap up the series earlier due to her family issues. This led to the premature ending of the manga and left everyone with a sour taste. We can only hope Ufotable will give us a good original ending.
2. Jobless Reincarnation
The great-grandfather of Isekai has shown it still has spring at its feet, and no new or old series can stop in its path of telling people what Isekai should be like.
Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu Part 2 has Rudeus come back to his form all the way to the beast continent, but things are not the same and never will be. What lay before our characters is an uncertain future and only one chance at it. Those one-liners alone make you think the anime should be in Winter’s Top 10 Anime Of 2022
1. Attack on Titan
We only have one complaint about the show, give us the final part already. There are so many times we can rewatch the anime and reread the anime and cover the side stories… Joking aside, Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season Part 2 brought us closer to the conclusion of the story that has been going over a decade. The series not only deserves to be in the top spot in Winter’s Top 10 Anime Of 2022, but it may as well be the best shonen anime of all time. Ah, when the series wraps, there sure will be many comparisons and discussions on who deserves the top spot between Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Attack on Titan.
