Now, Big Brother never ceases to amaze me. In season 25, I keep getting surprises with Red and Cameron becoming the chiller’s duo, and part of the larger Legend 25 alliance, only to find out that that was an elaborate ruse to cancel Red, Cameron, and Bowie. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves because there are many things to unpack in this competition reality series that has it all: drama, plotting, conniving challenges, and surprises.
Can Cameron the Space Cowboy become gone? In any case, we must brace ourselves for what’s ahead, because Cameron will have to play his cards carefully as the rest of the house plots against him, even managing in the scheme to try and flip his closest allies.
Big Brother Season 25 Episode 17 Recap
I cannot but express how frustrated I feel when there’s so much chaos in a show like Big Brother because my ADHD gets in the way of me keeping up. Still, what I picked up was that Cameron’s “soup revenge plot” shook things up, and while I’m not a big fan of his, I do appreciate the intensity with which he tried to come back from the short end of the stick because everyone the Legend 25 alliance was plotting against him, against Red and Bowie.
Cameron won the HOS competition, and to his displeasure, Red got evicted. Meanwhile, Bowie, who’s sided with Cameron, is also upset about being left out of the vote that went against Red. Siri tries to comfort and console Bowie, telling her that secrecy and hidden information are a common thing in Big Brother.
Despite Bowie’s potential to use her leverage and position herself as one of Cameron’s most trusted allies, she says in a confessional that she holds skepticism and reserves about that. Cameron, also in a confessional, tells us that Siri’s breakdown of how things went down after Red got evicted is making him suspicious.
This Big Brother episode then takes a twist when the “Humiliverse” presents quite a challenge in which the houseguests use a big megaphone to announce their bowel movements and rate how stinky those dumps are to the public. Are they running out of challenges in this show after 25 seasons that they must resort to eschatological stuff? Distasteful, if you ask me.
In any case, when that stink rating gets to the max, the whole house dons a gas mask. After that. Bowie and Cmeron discuss how things are between them and think that Legend 25 is a thing of the past. Cameron hints at a secret plan he hasn’t shared even with Bowie, but we still don’t know what it is.
And while Cameron is plotting, Felicia proposes Jared, ruffling feathers in the Legend 25 ranks. Jared acquiesces and confides to Three about Felicia’s plan, and Three stops talking to Felicia.
When Cameron’s secret plan seems to work, he convinces people that Jag and Blue must be nominated. But he only knows the truth, and even Jag is uncertain about the nominations. The episode ends with Cameron revealing his nominations as Izzy and Felicia, shocking the house. He vows to target them along with Three.
