However, in this particular scene, he appears to be very angry. He seems like a changed person all over. He is mad about how he has been treated and that his hair has turned white.
He even revealed in the press about Ted’s panic attacks and quit his job working with Ted. He is now in charge of a rival team, West Ham. After showing Nate’s angry side in the 2nd season of Ted Lasso, people were sure that the third season would explain the reason why he acted in that certain way and how his friends might have made him feel so upset.
However, this did not happen. In the third season, we saw that the writers had a different story to tell, and it made the episodes longer to fit everything in. Because of this, the writers last their main focus, and it became uncertain about what they wanted to say. The story did not make an effort to explain why Nate was being so mean.
Instead of this, they took a step back from the serious stuff and turned Nate back into the kind person he was in the first season. This was done majorly so that the season could have a happy ending which was something unusual for the show as it used to be. This was when Ted Lasso gave in to its weaker points.
The first and second seasons of Ted Lasso were when it was at its finest. It demonstrated how crucial it is for all of us to keep in mind that nobody is flawless and that both as a community and as individuals, we should be understanding and forgiving.
Since Nate gave Ted the boot after Ted Lasso season 2, fans have been imagining a confrontation between the two managers in which their opposing management philosophies would be ultimately put to the test.
Life doesn’t always go as planned, as Season 3 of Ted Lasso proved. Before Richmond and West Ham might have faced off again, Nate left West Ham. Let’s begin by facing it. Ted Lasso didn’t become one of the best TV shows by always choosing the safe path and avoiding chances.

Why did Nate Quit West Ham?
In the most recent episode at Ted Lasso, the reason why Nate left West Ham was not shown. However, surely not fired from his job, but he chose to quit his coaching job. It might have been possible that he finally recognized Rupert for the cold-blooded person he truly was, or Trent might have suggested that something inappropriate happened that prompted Nate to leave the club.
The really surprising thing is that Nate figured out that West Ham is not the right fit for him. Even though he was successful there, if he continued to be serving their team, it would not serve his purpose. Though he was true to his profession of coach, he realized that it was not he who was.
He still likes eating at his favorite restaurants and following his usual routine. In one episode of the last season, we saw that Rupert invited him to go to the club and maybe cheat on his girlfriend Jade, but Nate realized that he did not belong there.
Nate’s journey from being a rival to Ted is one of the best parts of the whole show. Throughout the seasons, we have seen him change alert both as a coach and as a person. He was someone who took care of the team’s equipment at AFC Richmond.
The players, especially Jamie, used to be mean to him, but when Ted became the coach, things got better for him. The players stopped bullying him, and Nate got more charges to help with the team’s strategies before the games. He was promoted to assistant coach and started sitting on the bench with Ted and coach beard.
