The Flash Season 09 Episode 13 got written by Sam Chalsen and Eric Wallace and directed by Vanessa Parise. The previous episode was a race to the finale. It looked like Flash’s bad habits shall create a mess and disturb the storyline in the final episode.
Barry met Eddie Thawne in 2049, and the detective had to decide in the twelfth episode. Barry’s relationship was at risk as he saw his wife with Eddie when he traveled to 2049. Thus, he started questioning her love for him.
Barry will get haunted by old and new villains in the upcoming episode. Similarly, several viewers will get shocked to see a friend turned into an enemy. A few relationships will get broken, while some will get amended.

The Flash Season 9 Episode 12 Recap
Eddie and Korber were arguing about the same annoying thing, who Kober is, as they were doing in the eleventh episode. Finally, Kober got killed after being pulled into a portal. After going to the Flash Museum, Eddie found that the Reverse Flash was still alive. It happened in 2049, and the story confused the audience enough.
Eddie noticed how Nora resembled his daughter. Meanwhile, Nora did not know what to do with him because Barry was in outer space. Nora was about to fall prey to the cobalt crystal. She produced the cobalt crystal on her palm and asked Eddie to ask for whatever he lost, but Eddie did not ask for anything.
By this time, Eddie understood that his sacrifices were worthless. Nora attacked Barry with the cobalt crystal and got interrupted by Eddie when she tried to kill Barry. When the duo went to Malcolm Gilmore’s West House, Barry found it only a mirage to attract Eddie after his rebirth. Meanwhile, Eddie accused Barry of several things, including taking away his future wife.
Barry went to deal with Nora, and Eddie went to 2049 to meet Iris. Eddie had to make a decision, but not before seeing Iris. Iris recognized Eddie with a glance. Eddie decided to be with Iris after coming across his portrait with Iris and blonde Nora. However, he got angry when Iris decided to stay loyal to Barry.
Angry Eddie ended up accepting the cobalt crystal after returning to his lab. He wanted Iris to realize how wrong her decision was. Meanwhile, Godspeed, Reverse-Flash, Zoom, and Savitar were waiting in the crystal to meet Eddie and finish Barry. Though Nora was disappointingly possessed for most of the time, the show makers intelligently used her in the episode.
Barry disappeared at the end of the eleventh episode and appeared half away in the thirteenth episode. The Negative Speed Force took him away again. It is because the show makers did not know what to do with him in that episode.
Meanwhile, Barry returned downtown to fight Nora until Cecile came to take the negative force out of Nora. Finally, they returned to the STAR labs. Barry asked Iris whether she was happy with him, and she confessed her love for him. On the other hand, Eddie was trying to recognize where he went wrong sitting in his lab.

Expectations From The Flash Season 9 Episode 13
The red line in the sky seen in the previous episode was not lightning. It was the breakdown of the timeline. Barry will meet his friends and prepare to face the biggest challenge in the finale episode. These challenges will include some old and new faces too.
Nora will question the righteousness of her visit to the past. She will feel that she is breaking the timeline as she is yet to be born. Eddie will turn into a villain. However, he was related to the dark side, which justifies the change to some extent. Thus, he will join the Negative Speed Force to destroy Barry and his family for the betterment by turning into Cobalt Blue.
Barry had been watching his close ones suffer or die. His wife will be in labor, but he will be busy performing his duties to save the timeline. The villains will claim Barry’s life. Cobalt Blue (Eddie), the latest villain, will ask Barry for his last words, and Iris will ask him (Barry) to run.
The ninth season has been emotionally challenging for our protagonists, and Barry will face several villains in the finale episode. The show makers will end the season for good, and it will feel like the end of the era along with Barry.
