The wait for the fans of the Star Wars franchise is over, with Disney giving the green light for the release of the animated series. Disney has given the premiere date for the first episode of the upcoming series. The series will serve educational purposes through it. The series is based on a novel by George Lucas named Star Wars.
The series will target a younger audience and focuses on a group of younglings and their story of them before the Star Wars films. The direction for the series is done by Elliot Bour, and Lamont Magee is the series’s writer. Jonathan Cunningham did the VFXs for the series, and Mitchel Hutchinson did the animation.
The series will be starring Jamaal Avery as the voice of Kai Brightstar. He is a Jedi youngling with hopes to follow Yoda, the Jedi Master’s footsteps, to become a Jedi Knight. Emma Berman voices the character of Nash Durango, a pilot friend of Kai who often teams up with them to go on adventures. Juliet Donenfeld voices the character of Lys Solay, a Pantoran Jedi youngling.
Dee Bradley Baker voices Nubs, a Pooba Jedi Youngling, Jonathan Lipow voices the character of RJ-83, a youngling’s droid friend, and Piotr Michael voices Yoda, the Jedi master. Disney gave the series the green light to premiere in 2023.
The series is a treat for the fans of the Star Wars franchise as they would get to see the younger self of their favorite character training to become a Jedi. Young Jedi Adventures Episode 1 Preview
The series revolves around a group of younglings learning the way the force works from the Jedi master, Yoda. The master teaches the younglings patience, compassion, and self-discipline as they are the key elements for them to become successful Jedi. The series will follow Kai as he goes through several obstacles to fulfill his dream of following in Yoda’s footsteps.
The first episode will introduce young Kai, Lys Solay, and Nubs as they prepare for a training exercise with the training droid. The three younglings fight the droids with their lightsabers despite Solay’s concern about the droid being for adults. Kai takes this opportunity to introduce his friends to Jedi training at Jedi Temple Tenoo. The episode introduces the strength of Kai’s friends. Solay knows animals, and she rescued a lizard before training with the droid.
Kai expresses his and his friend’s wish to become Jedi Knights. He also states that they have a lot to learn before becoming a Jedi. Nubs is pushed to a corner by the training droid, and even with his small stature, he successfully fends the droid off.
Brightstar realizes that the droid is too strong for them and attempts to switch it off. The three younglings launch a combined attack on the droid, and with the droid unwilling to give up, Kai has no choice but to call his pilot friend.
The first episode ends with the younglings being saved by Jedi Master Yoda as a wall of bricks is going to topple on them. Kai is happy to meet his idol, and Yoda is pleased with them. Yoda states he is impressed by younglings knowing the importance of teamwork. Yoda sends the younglings on an adventure.

Young Jedi Adventure will be released on April 26, 2023, for the audience to stream via Disney + and Disney Junior at 3:00 A.M. [E.T.] for the people residing in the U.S. The series has six episodes. Fans outside the U.S. must check their timings to stream the series’ latest episode.
