As Better Call Saul’s conclusion is right around the corner, it’s time to do the Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 12 recap ahead of the season finale programmed for Monday night on AMC. It’s the conclusion of six seasons full of laughs, tears, and judicial shenanigans for Jimmy McGill, Saul Goodman, and Gene Takavic.
Gene’s been spotted. He’s been made. He called the vacuum cleaner guy. Still, he decided to take care of things on his own with that shady taxicab driver by setting up a heist on a luxury goods store to get him off the hook, but that wasn’t enough, Saul’s good old hustler instincts kicked in, and now he’s paying the consequences of his actions.
What will become of him? He missed Kim dearly and managed to track her down to Palm Springs, Florida. But she’s gone from his life. And Saul has the cops breathing on his neck, he’s on the run and scared.
Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 12 Recap
In a flashback, Kim and Saul meet to finalize their divorce, and while waiting outside Saul’s office, she encounters Jesse. At her job as a sprinkler manufacturer in Florida, she receives a call from Gene posing as Viktor St. Claire, the alias the two of them used to employ as “Viktor and Gisselle” when they wanted to swindle some investors for cash and drinks in bars from seasons 2 and 3. Kim asks Saul to turn himself in and hangs up when he refuses. That was a bitter phone call.
Kim Travels Back To New Mexico
After having an emotional breakdown on the bus, she travels to Albuquerque, where she confesses to Cheryl in writing, detailing how she and Jimmy destroyed Howard’s reputation and how he passed away. Cheryl wanted to know where Howard’s body was, but Kim wouldn’t know for the world of hers. When Kim went to the Courthouse to deliver a letter containing her confession, the prosecutors left her alone because there wasn’t any evidence to push for a case against her. After all, Saul Goodman was good at keeping things neat and tidy and away from Kim, whom he loved the most.
Gene
When Gene wakes up, he barely makes it out of the cancer patient’s home. Gene is forced to ask Marion to help Jeff get out on bail after Jeff panics and collides with another car when a police car idles behind him, leading to his arrest and being held responsible for the burglary. When Gene tries to intimidate Marion, forcing him to flee, Marion is already using the computer Jeff purchased her with the department store money to investigate Gene’s true identity on Ask Jeeves and calls the police with her Life Alert button.
Now, Saul must flee. And this leads the way into the series finale, titled Saul Gone, which will tell us what will happen to Saul after this ordeal. Is he avoiding the authorities once again? Can he manage to live a normal life? Or will he end up dead? We’ll have to wait and see in the season and series finale of this great series!
