There have been eight seasons of the show, ‘Dance Moms,’ with 224 episodes. New episodes are not released anymore, but fans watch repeated episodes on ‘Lifetime,’ the official broadcaster of the show. Dance Moms aired from 13 July 2011 to 10 September 2019 and has a lot of content to attract viewers. Abby Lee Miller is a strict dance instructor in the show who trains her students to get the National Dance title and fulfill their dreams (or their mothers’ dreams).
The students aged six to sixteen traveled to perform in dance competitions every week and head up to the nationals. Miller also tried to make them capable and employable dancers. Miller used criticism to motivate her students. Sometimes, the ambitious mothers argued with each other and even with Miller. These arguments have a notable share in the show’s success.
Viewers saw children improving themselves with every episode. However, the children grew up and parted ways to pursue their careers, which was the official reason for ending the show. All seasons were filmed in Abby Lee Dance Company Studios.

Is Dance Moms Worth Watching?
Dance Moms is worth watching, especially for drama lovers, because it has a lot of drama. The show is entertaining but unfit for younger audiences as it contains verbal abuse and unnecessary rivalry among the girls.
The children get in the giant hamster bubbles, people get bullied, and the mothers and Miller disrespect each other. The first season was considered a masterpiece, but the audience got bored by the long list of episodes in the further seasons.
The fourth season came with the most drama. The arguments between Miller and the mothers heat so much that they take their kids home. Still, competition takes place. However, the show was not only about dancing. It taught us what it takes to be the best.
Several girls, except a few, came and left the show throughout the eight seasons. They parted ways to pursue further education or a dance career. Some girls even reached Hollywood. Dance Moms has given rise to many spin-offs, such as Dance Moms: Miami, Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, Raising Asia, and Dance Mums with Jennifer Ellison.
