The Ancient Magus Bride Season 2 Episode 5 starts off by showing Chise Hitori’s new life in the academy, Chise Hitori finds a new friend called Silky, and they go around the academy doing chit-chat, but as the events go on, Chise Hitori somehow stumbles upon an illusion world, and they meet another mysterious character.
The lady introduces herself as Rahad, a mage, sorcerer, and the demon of the sea. Apparently, Rahad approached Chise Hitori to ask about the necklace she was wearing, and it was revealed that the necklace Chise Hitori wore was actually a necklace made by Rahad and gifted to Ainsworth Aliast. Later Rahad asks Chise Hitori a deep question, “Who are you to Elias Ainsworth?”.
Chise Hitori suddenly became flustered and said Elias Ainsworth is teaching her magic and Chise Hitori is Elias Ainsworth’s apprentice, but to this, Rahad replied that their relationship seems to be more than just a teacher and student. To break the silence, Raph says that Chise Hitori is Elias Ainsworth’s bride.
To lighten the mood, Rahad invites Chise Hitori to her house to sit and talk while enjoying some refreshments. Rahad makes coffee for everyone and they continue with their conversation and start talking about Linden and Elias. Rahad later reveals that she was a friend to Elias, they traveled a lot together and Elias used to stay at Rahad’s house.
