Love Class Season Episode 3 was released on the 18th of August, 2023. It is an ongoing South Korean romantic BL Streaming Series. It airs on Rakuten Viki every Friday. The series has started premiering recently, but the audience are liking the slow-burn romance between the characters.
The series is progressing slowly, as they need to complete the story in ten episodes. So they are not rushing things out. The story is about six young men whose life revolved around each other. And three people have a crush on the person they are unable to confess.
But they are also not giving up on what they want. They have their own different story with different characteristics. Everybody’s life is a mess, and in between, they are longing for the ones they love.
This article is about the detailed information of the third episode, its recap, review, and verdict with rating.
Let’s Catch Up With Episode 3 of Love Class Season 2
The 3rd episode started with Maru visiting Hyun’s place for a sleepover. Maru told him he went to Minwoo’s place but turned back as he thought he would not open the door.
Later, Hyun asked him about the time police showed up on campus. They talked about the case and rumor of Kim An pushing someone from the roof. Maru also admitted that Minwoo seemed different to him.
The next morning, Maru went to a café. The owner told him that his set-up was a little too much as it consumed a lot of electricity. But he made a scene out of him. It was visible how annoyed the owner was by his behavior.
In the meantime, Hyun visited Sungmin and asked him questions concerning the Kim An case. He responded if it was just a rumor, it must be it then. Joohyuk saw them together and left the place quietly.
Hyun was only busy finding out about the case in detail, but he was not leading to any conclusion. In the class, the following presenters were Kim An and Lee Hyun for the assignment. Their log was about each other.
On the other hand, Joohyuk brought a gift to apologize to Sungmin. And when he later opened to see, he was nothing but embarrassed. When the class got over, An went to his locker but instead found a letter saying Did you miss me? He took it off and threw it away.
Later that day, Hyun appeared out of nowhere to surprise Kim An, but he didn’t even flinch. They interacted about their assignments which they had to do together. And Hyun directly asked An about the rooftop incident. He said everybody knew it then, why he was not aware of it.
Meanwhile, when Minwoo reached home, he saw Maru waiting for him at the doorstep. Maru told him his parents had decided to abandon him because he had quit his job. He requested Minwoo to let him move in with him, and he would pay half the rent.
Our Verdict
This story is nothing like how we see it nowadays. The show has plenty more to show, as there are ten episodes to wrap up the story. It was not easy to figure out what exactly was happening. But after each episode, the story comes out clearly and naturally.
The best thing about the show is that at the end of each episode, something relating to the characters or their relationships with one another is shown that indicates how close they are and how their pasts were.
Such as in the 3rd episode, they showed their past when Hyun’s parents were taking divorced, and he told this to his tutor, Kim An. He comforted him and made him feel at ease. And his eyes displayed his emotions about what he was feeling for An.
All the characters have different characters with different stories and their own reasons to follow. The three couples have the same share of time to tell their stories. Hyun and An look good together, but they have to be more convincing. The second couple, Maru and Minwoo, are in a confused situation, only like the viewers. And there’s no connection or chemistry I see in the third couple.
The mystery is only about what happened on the rooftop, and if it gets revealed, there’s nothing much to keep the audience waiting. Dialogues are not cringe is something relieving about this show. But they still have a lot of areas which need improvement.
It has something humorous to add up, which sometimes seems lost in the forest. Maru’s parents are fun, no doubt about that. We have to see if it is worthy enough to fall under romance.
I would like to give 3 out of 5 to the 3rd episode of Love Class Season 2 Episode 3.
