His trouble did not stop there as it followed him even in his teenage which led him to Juvenile Jail. That is where he met with a member of the HTB Western tribe, JJ.
In the tenth and last episode of the series “The Struggle,” listening to Cissy’s advice Leon Simmons ultimately decides to go back to his motherland Ghana to Wanda, his wife, and be with her. During the first half of the sixth season, Leon Simmons returns to South Central, Los Angeles, Hoping to be a mediator for Franklin and Louie, his aunt, and Jerome, his uncle. But his hopes are proved futile as the upcoming chapters unfolded the detail of the war that was being fought among the rival figures.
After all this, Leon stays determined not to leave Los Angeles as he tries to thrive in his journey of staying there for peace from his harsh lifestyle. Luck waved his way through Cissy, who is like a mother figure to him.
Cissy encouraged him to put past the violence and go back to Wanda, his wife. Leon decides to do as advised since he knows Cissy would only look out for his best interest and returns to his wife. Though at the time Leon left, there were a few noteworthy fatalities.
At the end of the last ever episode of the series, there happened a two-year skip of time. Leon returns to Los Angeles to meet with his friend, Franklin. Franklin was at the stage of losing the house that he was saving for his mother and the only asset he had left in his hand.
Franklin seemed to be at his lowest after succumbing to his addiction and drug dependency. Thus Leon being a friend, tells Franklin that he could cough up his unpaid tax money and save the house for him, but Franklin denies the offer Leon gave. Yet Leon being the man he is, chose to establish a free clinic legally to defend the people of his community.
