Let’s talk about the plot of the drama now. Yabani focuses on the tragic story of Yaman Ali. He was the eldest son of one of the wealthiest families in Turkey. However, at the age of five, he was kidnapped and left on the road by the kidnapper. On the other hand, his family searched for him everywhere but couldn’t find his trace.
Yaman grew up in rags, unaware of his true identity. He would do menial jobs to make ends meet and survive. However, he was loved by his neighbours and friends for his loyalty. Almost 18 years later, his real mother finds him and brings him to the Soysala family.
His mother brings him back with the hope of reuniting with his family and inheriting the Soysala family business. However, Yaman Ali feels like a fish out of the pool at the mansion, as his siblings despise him, and the other family members make fun of him for growing up poor.

The death of Umut brings misery to everyone’s life. Even tho they spent less time with him, the whole existence of Umut was precious to them, especially Asi, Cesur, and Yaman, and the death of Umut affected the lives of these three the most.
Yaman recalls how Umut left them by giving hope to many people, even during his last time. Yamn, Asi, and Cesur get dispersed and go on their way after mourning Umut’s death. Asi, along with her companion Alaz, went to Ghetto. Cesur still mourns Umut’s death and finds himself in rags.
Yaman’s world is shattered, but Ruya comes to comfort him. Meanwhile, Yaman gets a heads up that Gevin is after Umut’s murderer, and with the aid of Metin, he will be involved with Guven in finding the culprit, too. However, Serhan is planning something big that can tear apart the Soysalan family.
Yaman returns back to the Soysalan mansion after mourning at his brother Umut’s funeral. But when he goes back, he will be shocked by a cruel reality that will put him into his own identity crisis. Alas reveals the fact that Yaman Ali’s real father is actually the doctor Guven Aydin.
Upon knowing this fact, Yaman’s broken life gets completely destroyed, and he is left with nothing but despair. Guven then reveals the truth of him being the father of Yaman; however, this all puts Nesilhan as a villain who has hidden the fact for so long.
Yaman, who was already feeling suffocated by the Soysalan family, gets another reason to understand that he doesn’t fit in this mansion. Broken Yaman goes back to his neighbor, where he thinks he belongs, and starts living a normal life. He reunites with his siblings Asi and Cesur and continues to lead the life he was living in his old place.
