The competitive gacha market saw a major shake-up in June 2026, with Kuro Games’ Wuthering Waves outperforming all major HoYoverse titles, including Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. The data, compiled from mobile revenue estimates reported by Kuro Games, highlights ongoing volatility in the genre.

Wuthering Waves Secures Second Place Globally

According to the latest rankings, Wuthering Waves generated approximately $34 million in June 2026, placing it second overall in the global gacha revenue chart. This marks a continued upward trend for the title following its recent collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which significantly boosted player engagement and spending.

The game also showed growth compared to May’s $31.75 million performance, strengthening its position as a serious competitor to HoYoverse’s dominance.

In contrast, major HoYoverse games experienced declines. Genshin Impact earned around $32.33 million, dropping from $41.66 million the previous month, while Honkai: Star Rail fell to $28.46 million. Zenless Zone Zero ranked much lower at seventeenth place with $9.66 million, showing relatively stable but modest performance.

Industry trackers note that while HoYoverse remains dominant in scale, its titles are now facing stronger competition across the mobile RPG market.

The top five gacha earners for June 2026 were led by Love and Deepspace at $38.38 million, followed by Wuthering Waves, Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Naruto Mobile. Data reflects mobile-only revenue, with some titles also generating additional income on PC platforms.
