Dragon Ball Super Ch 85 will continue with Vegeta’s supremacy, and he will be beating Gas down in the first few panels. However, as you can expect from every other Dragon Ball villain, Gas will power up yet again. On the other hand, Goku won’t be missing out on any action either. He will jump into the fight alongside Vegeta and together they will fight toe-to-toe against Gas. Meanwhile, Elec and others will be watching the fight from a distance, hoping Gas to pull off yet another miracle.
It is clear that landing punches and all won’t be of much use in the long run, and sooner or later, the Saiyans will resort to finishing moves like Final Kamehameha, Spirit Bomb, or even Vegeta’s classic Final Atonement. If things go south, Elec may even take Monaito or Granolah as a hostage to turn the tables around. I do believe that Granolah will play the role that Android 17 played in the Tournament of Power arc. He will somehow survive till the end and emerge as the MVP after the Saiyan duo wears Gas out. It’s only fair for him to get the chance to avenge his dead mother by killing either Elec or Gas.

Recap of DBS Chapter 84
In Chapter 84, Goku remembers the bits and pieces of the memories he has about the brief period he spent on Planet Vegeta. He recalls seeing his father return from Cereal in a roughed-up state, and his mother immediately treated his injuries. He even remembers the last time his parents bid him farewell before sending him to the Earth. Back in the present, Goku says that he finally realizes the significance of the Saiyan pride.
They can’t waste much time reminiscing the old memories since Gas shows up shortly and engages them in a fierce. Surprisingly, the two Saiyans agree to fight alongside each other. Despite their differences, they decide to focus more on their sheer will to win. Gas initially states that teaming up won’t make any difference but soon realizes that he was wrong. He finds himself getting pushed back by Vegeta’s Destruction Ball. Alarmed by the exponential growth, Gas defects the Destruction Ball to Goku and beats Vegeta into a pulp. The sky falls upon Gas when Vegeta gets back and smashes him to the ground. On the other hand, Goku deflects the Destruction Ball, thereby confirming that the Saiyans are getting stronger with every hit.
