After finding out that Arnell was about to die in the last chapter during their fight with Veron, things have become really serious and dark in the series, and that is the reason why fans of this super interesting Manhwa series are really excited to get their hand on to the next installment of the story.

Before we can move on to that part, though, let’s just first revisit the latest released chapter to find out what actually happened in the previous interaction in the series.
The latest chapter opens up with Priest Griffin and Arnell fighting against Veron. During this fight, we see Arnell thinking that she must have to hurry and she must kill Veron right now, or else it might turn out to be a huge disadvantage for them in the future.
Although with the help of her powerful flame attack, Arnell tries to knock him, however, we see that there was not any effect on it. With this, when Priest Griffin says that it is too dangerous for her to go that close to it, she says that she can not stop there, and that is also when she starts creating her next spell.

Later in the chapter, we see that Arnell believes that she must use more and more power to kill Veron; however, at the same time wonders if she is going to die there. If she could have known that this was going to happen, she would have told Herbert more. She believes that she would have told him that she was happy in this life because of him.
When she losses all her hope and starts deciding to surrender herself, she feels a kind of familiar energy, and later that turns out to be Herbert’s, who shows up and grabs her.
Later in the chapter, we get a flashback, where we see that Herbert finds out that Arnell went back in time with the help of that ancient artifacts. With this, we see one of his informers reveal that it seems like he also saw the other timeline that Arnell came from through the artifact and, at the same time, feels a powerful surge of mana.
Back to the fighting scene, we see that Herbert hands Arnell over to Priest Griffin and asks him to keep her safe while addressing Veron, saying that he will kill him for sure this time.
When he is fighting Veron, we see Herbert thinking that Veron definitely got stronger than before; since his movements are broad, with a little bit of focus, it is easy to find an opening and then blow a final attack.

With this, Herbert goes towards Arnell to wake her up; however, unknowingly to him, Veron wakes up and tries to attack him from behind, but somehow Arnell makes a powerful shield that not only protects Herbert but also throws him away.
Even though Arnell was really weak and lost a lot of blood during the fatal attack by Veron, she is now unconscious and struggling to hold her breath.
