What Episode is Luffy Vs. Bellamy
Luffy confronts and beats up Bellamy in One Piece Episode 150. This happened when the Straw Hats were looking for a south Bird, and Bellamy and his crew ended up attacking Cricket’s house and stealing the gold artifacts that were collected for over three years. The Straw Hats then returned only to see what Bellamy did, and it was at this point that Luffy decided to take a side trip to Mock Town to retrieve the gold that Bellamy took.
So Luffy then was on his way to Mock Town while Sarquiss was talking about the event that occurred between their crew and the Saruyama alliance. A drunk man who once picked up wanted posters came into the bar and presented them to all who were in the bar, including Bellamy. After seeing this, Bellamy tried to counter the posters and said that there are pirates who try to increase their bounties just to scare their opponents so they would not fight them.
Apparently, he was talking about Luffy and Zoro’s event as he had just beaten them up earlier in the day. As this ensued, Luffy appeared, shouting Bellamy’s name as he was busy looking for him. Bellamy made fun of Luffy and even believed that Luffy could not throw a punch. Bellamy continued to attack Luffy while his crew mates watched from a distance. But this made their fight more intense.
Most of Bellamy’s attacks did not harm Luffy, and he could even dodge them with little difficulty. So this made Bellamy go for the finishing moves as he wanted to prove a point that he was stronger than Luffy. He continued mocking Luffy about his wanted poster being fake, but this only angered Luffy, and he decided to fight Bellamy seriously.
