The Boneworks sequel is finally here! That’s right, the good fellas at Stress Level Zero decided to honor us and give us a sequel to their cool game title. So, when is the Bonelab release date? Just recently, the people from Stress Level Zero debuted the upcoming title at the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, and they topped that with a cherry: A cool trailer we’re also linking for you in this post. So, by the end of this, you’ll be familiar with everything there’s to know about this upcoming title.
In case you’re not familiar with Bonelab, it is a sequel to Boneworks, a virtual reality action sandbox game that’s been on the market for nearly three years! If you ever played Half-Life or Portal, when you play Boneworks and that upcoming Bonelab, you’ll get a very similar look and feel. Now, without any further ado, let’s begin unpacking what the guys at Stress Level Zero had to offer at that conference a couple of days ago! Let’s begin!
What Is Bonelab All About?
Bonelab is essentially a bettered version of its predecessor, Boneworks. It is —as stated earlier— a sandbox game. The sequel comes back with the modes that made Boneworks a great game —Trial and Arena, where you can wield melee and ranged weapons and run through obstacle courses. You also get sandbox worlds to do whatever you please, making the capacity for this game to be almost infinite! Additionally, the game features user-made levels and in-depth modded customizations, so you will always be busy doing something different.
During the conference where they showcased it, the developers said that the game is physically interactive, and it has a whole new engine process that allows for totally different interactions, coupled with a new story. Last but not least, they also mentioned a totally new —great— soundtrack developed by the composer Michael Wycoff.
What Is A Sandbox Game?
A sandbox game genre with a gaming feature that allows the player to interact with the game with a high degree of creativity, either without a stated aim or with one that the player determines for themself. Non-games or software toys are terms used to describe games that have no clear goal.
Sandbox games are more typically created as a result of these creative components being added into other genres, allowing for spontaneous gameplay. Sandbox games are frequently connected with an explorable idea that allows the player to freely move and progress across the game’s universe. The term “sandbox” comes from the fact that a sandbox allows children to build almost anything they want in it.

Bonelab Release Date
Bonelab is expected to release sometime this year. To begin, during the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase conference, the developers of Stress Level Zero didn’t mention a specific, concrete date for this game where you play a dude sentenced to death that must escape his ill fate from an underground facility riddled with puzzles, challenges and things around you that you must interact with. You can also create your own avatar. So you can look and feel in whatever way, shape, and form you desire. Lastly, in our reporting efforts, we will be monitoring every outlet and the Steam page. So, the moment Stress Level Zero comes up with a date, we will post an update here for you.
What System Requirements Do I Need To Play Bonelab?
Firstly, Bonelab is a graphics-intensive and processor demanding game. So right off the kick-off, we’re talking no less than a 64-bit processor and Windows 10. So settle no less than for an Intel i7 9700. Secondly, you’ll need at least 16GB of RAM to run this thing. And also, you will require 20GB of available space in your HDD, to be more specific, an SSD. Lastly, concerning your video graphics card, you’ll need a top-of-the-line rig. Try an NVIDIA 2070 or something with a bigger bang. With this information, we end our coverage on Bonelab. Thanks for reading our piece, and happy gaming. See you soon!
