Itachi Uchiha, the son of Fugaku Uchiha, was a gifted shinobi who, according to legend, thought like a Hokage from a young age. He adored his family, especially his brother. Sasuke not knowing what the real truth was, was devastated and was just hell-bent on killing his brother. Itachi planned all this so that he could sacrifice himself for the village and his brother. He brought this hell on himself just to give Sasuke some moments of heaven. He did everything in his power to protect things precious to him.
Finally, Sasuke issued a challenge to Itachi in Naruto Shippuden Episode 134. This was life-or-death combat, and both brothers employed their most advanced skills to defeat each other. Itachi finally accepted that his brother had grown significantly stronger and taught him numerous Sharingan techniques. He demonstrated Susanoo to him so that he may utilize it in the future. Itachi is finally slain by his brother, dying in Sasuke’s arms with the final forehead smack.
The conflict between the two brothers came to an end in this manner. Later, Sasuke learned the truth about Itachi and planned to kill Konoha for assuming Itachi’s allegiance.
It was just dreadful to watch him die but his smile when he was satisfied and didn’t show even a hint of regret or anger soothed it for the fans a little. Although he deserved the world we can peace out knowing that he got what he longed for, Dying in the arms of his little brother, Sasuke.
