9. Cleaning Up
Starting off with Cleaning Up, the K-drama looks like a lot of fun and something that will make you laugh a lot. It is the remake of the UK TV Series that goes by the same name. Cleaning Up revolves around three cleaners Eo Yong Mi, Ahn In Kyung, and Maeng Soo Ja. While desperately sweeping and cleaning the floors of a financial company, the three come across some secret financial information. After hearing it, they start dreaming and working for a better life.
The three talented ladies who will be acting in Cleaning Up are Yeom Jung Ah, Jeon So Min, and Kim Jae Hwa. Yeom Jung Ah had shot to fame when she starred in one of the most legendary K-dramas yet, Sky Castle. She had played the role of Han Seo Jin in Sky Castle. She had hinted at her comeback in K-dramas after guesting as Hosu Women’s University’s previous headmistress. Jeon Seo Min had previously worked in Show Window: The Queen’s House as Yoon Mi Ra. 8. Jinxed At First
Jinxed At First is one of the only sweet rom-com K-dramas that will be airing in June. It revolves around two characters, Gong Soo Kwang and Lee Seul Bi. Goo Soo Kwang has made amends with his unlucky life and is a brewmaster who runs a craft beer store. Due to his serious demeanor, it is not unusual for Goo Soo Kwan to find out that someone likes him. As for Lee Seul Bi, she is a chaebol goddess. After meeting Goo Soo Kwang, Lee Seul Bi tries to change her own fate.
To make things better, Na In Woo and Girls’ Generations’ Seohyun will be acting as Goo Soo Kwang and Lee Seul Bi, respectively. Minamdong: Case Note is a K-drama that is adapted from a well-known web novel that goes by the same name. The web novel, which was published on KakaoPage, won the grand award when the writer participated in the platform’s web novel contest. Minamdong: Case Note follows the story of Nam Han Joon and Han Jae Hee. Nam Han Joon was a very good-looking as well as skilled profiler who has now turned into a shaman. On the other hand, Han Jae Hee is a homicide detective in her third year who is a fun and righteous person. The plot takes place in a very weird and suspicious café named Minamdong: Case Note.
The cast of Minamdong: Case Note consists of Seo In Guk and Oh Yeon Seo. The story of Alchemy of Souls follows the lives of young wizards and magicians in the mysterious country of Daeho. Daeho does not exist on any map, and its name can also not be found anywhere in history. The main characters of the story are Jang Wook, Mu Deok Yi, Seo Yul, Go Won, Park Jin, and Kim Do Ju.
Jang Wook comes from the noble family of Jang. However, he is called a troublemaker, and an unpleasant secret about his birth is talked all around. He happens to meet Deok Yi, a really powerful and elite warrior whose soul has been trapped in a very weak body. Deok Yi starts working for him as a servant and secretly starts teaching him combat skills. Another character that is good at fighting is Seo Yul. Seo Yul is seemingly perfect in every aspect. Lastly, Go Won is the kind-hearted prince of the kingdom. Due to “hwanhonsool,” (the soul of the dead return to the living) things start to mess up for the characters.
