Uncle From Another World Episode 7 is set to release next week. An anime adaptation of Uncle from Another World by AtelierPontdarc was released in July 2022. It was written and illustrated by Hotondo Shindeiru and began serializing on Kadokawa Shoten’s ComicWalker in June 2018.
As in Shindeiru Hotondo’s manga of the same name, Uncle From Another World follows the life story of Takafumi, a young man who lives with his uncle. Takafumi decides to visit his uncle after he wakes up to excuse himself from taking care of his uncle’s expenses. However, Takafumi finds out that his uncle spent 17 years fighting demons and monsters in an Isekai universe. Immediately after Takafumi returns from the world, he starts uploading videos of his uncle’s powers that he still has, making money off of them.
Using magic, Yosuke projected Takafumi’s memories of Sumika in the last episode, revealing that he only remembers her as a vulgar tomboy and bully, while Sumika recalls her as a friend. Yosuke finds it disgusting that his subscribers prefer elf girls to his gaming videos, but Takafumi enjoys the huge advertising money they receive after watching Elga’s video 200,000 times in minutes.
Uncle From Another World Episode 6 Review
The show performed far better than normal. The events in this episode made sense within the framework provided by the show while remaining distinct without becoming overtly formulaic. In addition, it was a good origin story for Uncle’s life as a vigilante bounty hunter in his isekai world since origin stories often set the tone for a show. However, it came too late to do anything beyond being a nice standalone.
In the last episode, Uncle was captured for the first time and mistaken for an orc, while we also saw the power he requested. When Isekai figured out how to take advantage of his translation powers to the maximum, his translation powers turned out to be extremely helpful. Although Uncle’s ascension felt natural, this show made it feel less cliche by engaging us throughout the runtime with Uncle’s way of thinking, making his rise feel much less cliche.
It’s also worth noting that grief and introspection are reoccurring themes throughout Isekai Uncle, albeit in a subtle way. That is not a negative because it is only a stylistic choice, but it is worth discussing. This is the kind of show that speaks things out loud without leaving anything to the viewers’ interpretation, which is exactly what happened here. Uncle’s rise from the bottom was as unsubtle as it gets, but it was still brilliantly written and acted. Also, we were able to watch Uncle interact with Elf for the first time, which showed us how misrepresented she was in Uncle’s eyes, an unreliable narrator who is unreliable at best.

The fact that he was seventeen and a NEET at the time certainly didn’t make matters worse for him. This one is about Takafumi’s daughter, Tsundere-chan. She’s a more reasonable character than expected, and Uncle, as usual, is a colossal idiot. He does, however, have a golden heart. The relationship between Mable and She is at the core of this plotline, even though we already know Uncle has no further interest in either of them than what he already has. In addition to his return to his original world, Takafumi and Fujimiya were better sidekicks for this episode after leaving them behind. However, their limited contributions still enhanced the episode.
