Produced, written, and directed by Tyler Perry, the show, Sistas is a comedy series that follows the lives of a bunch of black women as they create their paths in life. The show takes us on a journey through their ups and downs, giving us a glimpse of their careers, romances, and friendships, all of which they lose and gain over the seasons.
The four gorgeous single ladies who have the show’s attention are played by KJ Smith, who plays the role of a divorce attorney with a twisted love life, Andrea Barnes, and Ebony Obsidian in the role of Karen Mott, yet another woman with a complicated love life.
Mignon Von is in the show as Daniella King, a bold and opinionated airline supervisor, and lastly, we have Novi Brown in the role of Sabrina Hollins, a bank supervisor who ends up falling for a man whose sexuality we are not quite sure of.
Apart from these four leading cast members, Perry has also brought on the show DeVale Ellis, Brian Jordan Jr., Jevin Walton, Anthony Dalton, Crystal Renee Hayslett, and many others. The show offers fans a wide range of genres, ranging from romance to comedy to drama.
While the plot of the show did seem to be lost in the past few seasons, it looks like season six of the show has got it all together. The current season is probably the one with the best storyline direction and jokes that land right on time

The Plot
The last episode, episode 19 titled Dear Karma gets Zac disturbing news about his son, and we see him and Fatima talk about it in the episode. The show was almost hinting that Zac’s son might not be his real son and while the two were dealing with that, the truth about Gary was spilled.
Danni revealed to Penelope that Gary had been with Andi until very recently and had even asked Andi to get married to him. Andi told Penelope all about her love story with Gary, and Gary was quick to throw Andi under the bus, claiming that she was nothing more than a fling. Thankfully, Penelope had the sense to dismiss him completely, not buying into his story.
Maurice, seemed like the only one with a happy story, as he found a new charming man who had all of his attention. The upcoming episode is going to continue in this direction and we will finally see Zac and Fatima deal with his son’s bad news.
As the two recover from the news, Karen will have a new start for her salon as well, wanting to change things up there. And, finally, we will also see Sabrina decide to reclaim her life with a new look of determination in her eyes

This sixth season of the show is also about to wrap up soon. The producers of the show have confirmed the release of twenty-two episodes, and we are already done with nineteen of them. The upcoming twentieth episode is all set for release on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023.
