Created by Tyler Perry, the series has had three successful seasons. The series first premiered on March 19, 2020, and is still going on with the 4th season of the series currently premiering.
The series has 65 episodes to date which have been aired for the viewers to stream. The series focuses on Ruth, a young mother who kidnaps Callie, her daughter, to join the Rakudushis cult, which has sex-crazed members in it. Ruth is promoted to the position of an Elder in the cult after she helps in punishing Tally, her best friend, who is rebellious of the conditions in the cult. The twist comes when it is revealed Ruth is only playing nice in the cult to safely escape from it with her daughter.
BET+ brought an interesting dark-thriller series for the viewers to enjoy. Produced by Tyler Perry under Tyler Perry Studio, the series is receiving praise from everyone. Melissa’s acting is loved by the viewers.

The 4th episode of the series Tyler Perry’s Ruthless, titled “Eager Little Flower,” was made available for the viewers to stream on May 4, 2023. The episode begins with the highest asking Ruth and Dikahn to come out of the trailer, and as the duo is plotting the plans for deceiving the highest, they get nervous and start fumbling, thinking she heard their plans. The highest brings them over to the area where the wood is being chopped, and he asks Dikahn to put his head on the little stump where the wood is getting chopped.
The audience also saw Ruth standing next to the stump and being shocked as she questions in her mind about the highests’ motive. Dikahn begs for his life, and the highest tries to intimidate them into revealing their loyalty. Ruth keeps trying to answer the highest, but he shuts her off and tells her to stand behind him; as he is about to chop off Dikahn’s head, Ruth stops the highest by holding his axe at the right time. She tries to convince the highest not to chop off Dikahn’s head, but he takes her tone by threatening her.
The highest breaks Ruth’s nose in anger with the same axe, and the biggest changes his plan. He asked Ruth to put her head on the stump and asked Dikahn to hold her in place as Ruth resisted. Dikahn didn’t hesitate for a moment and forced Ruth to put her head on the stump. She informs the highest that she was trying to help him as it was the fault of the elder mother.
The Sheriff pays a visit to the cult and warns Dikahn of the future. Andrew goes along with the story Dikahn told him, and they convince Aron not to leave the cult. Ruth comes inside t get the highest food, and as there is a rule in the cult that the males eat first, followed by women, Dikahn eats and asks Ruth to eat after him.
The highest announced to the men that as they know Ruth, is his wife too, and before he has a wife, he would give some of the men the opportunity to have a wife for themselves. Aron is caught having a cell phone during the highests’ announcement.
Tyler Perry’s Ruthless Season 4 Episode 5 Preview
The fifth episode will let the viewers know Aaron’s true motive, and his wife will end up suffering the consequences of this revelation. Sheriff Conley is taken over at the precinct, and at the same time, Andrew will be convincing the higher-ups to let him be the one to get rid of the incriminating evidence.
Andrew has proved that he has been converted into being in disguise and a master manipulator to save him in a situation of emergency. Aaron will be forced to go into the punishment trailer, and his wife, who had fainted in the previous episode receive consequences for Aaron’s action. It will be interesting to see the turn the fate of those in the cult will take.
