The latest episode of Tracker Season 2, titled Exodus, takes the show into a darker and more mysterious territory. The episode opens with a teenager named Anton, played by Humuza Bazira, practicing his jazz saxophone at a bus stop near New Orleans. Suddenly, someone attacks him, and he disappears.
Anton’s father, worried about his son’s safety, turns to Detective Veach, played by Marci T. House, for help. Veach, who is also dating Anton’s father, suggests they call Colter Shaw. She has heard of Colter’s skills and believes he can find the missing boy before it is too late.
When Colter arrives, the police say they cannot start an official investigation for another 24 hours. This frustrates Anton’s father because he knows something is wrong.
He tells Colter that Anton has been bullied at his elite music school. He also reveals that Anton is not the first teenager to go missing in the area. There have been other disappearances, and he believes there is a dark presence in town that has existed for years.

Following the Clues to Anton’s Whereabouts
Colter wastes no time and starts looking for clues. He asks his cousin Randy, played by Chris Lee, to help by hacking into the CCTV footage from a nearby diner. Randy quickly finds footage of Anton at the bus stop.
Detective Veach, who is helping unofficially, sees someone in the footage she recognizes—a kid named Cal. Colter and Veach go to Cal’s house, where he gives them more information. He tells them that after Anton was attacked, he let Anton stay at his place. However, Anton later left with an older woman named Sherry Chevall, played by Wonser De-Gbon.
Anton told Cal that his connection with Sherry was related to music, something Cal would not understand. But there is a troubling detail—Sherry has a past kidnapping charge. This raises serious concerns. Could she have used music to lure Anton into a dangerous situation?
Sherry’s Mysterious Past and a Hidden Truth
Colter and Veach visit Sherry’s house and find evidence that she was there with Anton. However, it looks like they left in a hurry. Something is not right.
The investigation leads them to a jazz club, where an actual jazz singer, Liz Cole, is performing. While at the club, they talk to a bartender named Jessica, played by Tara Wilson.
She reveals that Anton, who is only fifteen, was working at the bar illegally so he could play music there. Jessica shares this information after some pressure from her boss, Hugo, played by Karl Makinen.
Hugo seems suspicious. Colter does not notice it at first, but his dark fedora and shady behavior make him stand out. However, Colter gets distracted by something else. He remembers that many old bars in New Orleans have hidden rooms left over from the Prohibition era. He starts searching for a secret exit.

Meanwhile, Veach shares more details about Hugo. She knows him from before. He comes from an old and wealthy New Orleans family and used to throw large parties. They eventually discover a secret back garden with mystic symbols, rose petals, and a dead body.
A Cult with Dark Rituals
Detective Veach realizes that these symbols are part of an ancient belief system, even older than Voodoo. People who follow this practice call themselves “Infini,” short for infinity.
When the episode first introduces Sherry in a basement with Anton, she has blue paint on her face. This suggests she might be involved in these rituals. But things take an unexpected turn.
Reenie, played by Fiona Rene, investigates Sherry’s past and finds that the kidnapping charge was dismissed. She learns that Sherry was actually helping Anton escape from an abusive home. This raises new questions. What is really going on?
Reenie also finds out that Sherry has a brother, a preacher, who might be connected to Anton’s disappearance. Hugo, the suspicious club owner, tells Colter and Veach that they can find Sherry’s brother at a church about thirty minutes away. However, something feels off.
A Dangerous Trap and a Race Against Time
Before heading to the church, Colter discovers an old manuscript hidden in a piano at the jazz club. It contains disturbing spells related to summoning, sacrifice, and torture. Veach recognizes the symbols from past cases involving missing teenagers who were later found dead. This means they need to find Anton as soon as possible.
But then, while they are on their way, Veach learns something shocking—Hugo gave them false information. The church they are going to is not real.
Hugo is actually the one performing the sacrifices. He tricked Anton, Sherry, her brother, and the other teenagers into taking part in dark rituals. His goal is immortality. He has already killed two teenagers and plans to use Anton for the final ritual.
A Deadly Confrontation
Back in the basement, Sherry and Anton are planning to escape. But before they can, Sherry finds her brother’s lifeless body. Hugo has already killed him.
When Colter and Veach arrive, they find Hugo holding Sherry hostage. A violent shootout begins. Veach gets injured, but Colter fights back. He chases Hugo through the church pews. The fight is intense, and Colter is under pressure. When he finally confronts Hugo, he does not have a dramatic speech prepared. He simply tells him, “Found your printouts.”
Despite the tension, Colter manages to take Hugo down and save Anton. That is what matters most.
Colter’s Rare Emotional Moment
After the fight, Colter seems shaken by what happened. Veach is badly injured, and he sits by her hospital bed, looking worried. This is unusual for Colter. He normally keeps his emotions hidden and does not get too close to people.
Throughout the episode, Colter and Veach developed a connection. She was a foster kid, and he also had an unusual upbringing. At one point, he tells Cal that he was homeschooled. Whether that is true or a metaphor for his unique childhood is unclear.
Most of the time, the only people who get hurt in Tracker are the villains. This is one of the rare times someone close to Colter gets seriously injured. Maybe this is why he prefers to keep his distance from others. He mostly talks to his friends and coworkers over the phone, rather than forming deep connections.
Reenie’s Suspicious New Client
While Reenie investigates Sherry’s record, she gets an unexpected visit from her secretive client, Leo Sharf, played by Pej Vahdat. He has been mentioned several times before, but this is the first time we see him in person.
Leo is confident and demanding. He even makes comments about how Reenie should decorate her office. He offers to send his personal interior designer to help. More importantly, he gives Reenie a job with no paper trail and hands her a burner phone for communication.
Leo also hints that he wants an exclusive working relationship with Reenie. He is clearly offering her a lot of money to make that happen.
Will Reenie Stay on Team Colter?
Leo’s offer puts Reenie in a difficult position. If she accepts, she may have to leave Colter’s team. However, she knows that working with Colter allows her to do meaningful work and help people.
It is likely that she will eventually turn down Leo’s offer. But how far will he go to convince her? And how bad will things get before she finally walks away?
Meanwhile, Colter once again refuses a reward for solving the case. Instead, he asks the client to donate the money to help the community in New Orleans. This is a noble gesture, but if he wants to keep his team together, he might need to start paying them.
A Missing Teen, Dark Rituals, and a Deadly Secret
Colter Shaw takes on one of his most disturbing cases yet in Tracker Season 2, Episode 14. A teenage jazz musician, Anton, vanishes after an attack at a bus stop in New Orleans.
His father, desperate for answers, turns to Colter for help. Detective Veach, who knows the area well, warns Colter about an unsettling “darkness” that has plagued the town for years.

As Colter investigates, he discovers Anton’s connection to a woman named Sherry, who has a past kidnapping charge. But the truth is more complicated—Sherry was helping Anton escape an abusive home. The real danger lies with Hugo, a jazz club owner who has been using ancient rituals to seek immortality. He has already killed two teenagers and needs Anton for his final sacrifice.
A tense shootout unfolds, leaving Veach injured and Colter shaken. Meanwhile, Reenie’s mysterious client, Leo, offers her a high-paying but shady job, forcing her to consider her loyalty.
With danger closing in, Colter realizes he must fight more than just criminals—he must face the unknown. Tracker continues to raise the stakes with each episode, leaving fans eager for what comes next.
