American actress Tori Spelling is currently admitted to a hospital due to some undermined illness. Last Sunday, the former star of Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, who is 50 years old, shared that she has been in the hospital since last Thursday. She showed a picture of her wristband with the date she got admitted and an IV tube.
On the fourth day of her hospital stay, Tori Spelling expressed her longing for her children through an Instagram Story. She wrote that she is missing her kids. She is grateful and extremely proud of her children for their strength, courage, resilience, and unwavering kindness. They maintain a positive attitude regardless of the challenges they face.
Why is Tori Spelling hospitalized?
The spokesperson for Spelling did not quickly answer when PEOPLE asked why she was in the hospital. The actress had to take her children to urgent care a few months ago because they got sick from mold in her old home in Los Angeles. This recent hospital visit happened after that.
The pattern of sickness had persisted for months, with bouts of illness followed by recovery, only to be followed by sickness again. She used to believe that this cycle was a natural outcome of having young kids attending school, assuming that they would consistently bring home various illnesses.
However, the situation escalated to a point where her children were spending more time at home due to illness rather than attending school, and she explained that they had to take a closer look at the situation.
While she understood that it is normal for children to experience sickness, the concern arose when her youngest kids (aged 10 and 6) were so unwell that they spent their days sleeping and even felt dizzy when they tried to stand up. These signs made her realize that there was a more significant issue at hand.
“Enter mold inspection!” Spelling conveyed. The inspectors found extensive mold within their residence. She noted that this discovery helped connect the dots and make sense of the situation.
She described the persistent pattern of sickness. ‘It is just a continuous cycle of falling ill, one infection after another. Respiratory infections are common, along with severe allergy-like symptoms. Even my young Finn experienced skin rashes.’ This is how she explained the symptoms her children were facing.
Tori Spelling’s personal life
Tori Spelling has boys named Beau Dean (6 years old), Finn Davey (10 years old), and Liam Aaron (16 years old). She also has girls named Hattie Margaret (11 years old) and Stella (15 years old). These kids are from her former partner, Dean McDermott, from whom she recently split after being together for 18 years.
After Dean McDermott said on Instagram in May that they were separating (but later removed the post), someone later told PEOPLE that Spelling was staying at a friend’s place. Another person who knows about this situation said that Spelling has been getting help from her mother, Candy, who she was not close to before, as she goes through this change.
