Master Komio and Ukoku bet about the moonlight in Saiyuki Reload Zeroin Episode 2. One day in the evening, a student talks with his master and wonders why the master is not sleeping. The student reminds the master to rest since he will pay for it in the morning. But the master insists since he wants to drink more. The master called his student Koryu who told him to sleep, and they would meet in the morning. Saiyuki Reload Zeroin’s latest episode reveals the reunion of the master and the students.
A strange guy arrives, and the full moon turns into a dark moon. The master wonders who this mysterious guy is and changes the moon’s appearance. The strange guy noticed that the master was alone. The master calls him Ukoku and realizes that Ukoku means no harm. Ukoku sits near the master, talks about Koryu, and realizes that he has heard rumors. The master told Ukoku that Kuryo would turn seven years old soon. They realize that Koryu has changed ever since he joined them. The moon returns to full moon and shows light.
Ukoko asks master Komio to think they would engulf the other if he was a night and Komio was the moon. Master Komio looked at the moon and told Ukoku that they could bet on it since he knew that person took the shape of the moonlight. Ukoku accepts the bets and asks what Komio will offer. Komio reveals that they are betting on the next sun that rises. In the morning, Goku and other warriors travel in the desert, and Goku complains that it is boring since they are not bumping with the bad guys.

The warriors try to convince Goku not to talk about boredom since they might get divine punishment for saying something like that. Goku replies that he will be glad to be tortured by dumplings and meat buns for his dive punishment. Sanzo scolds Goku since he always complains like a baby. Mysterious creatures hid in the forest and noticed a band of guys passing by. Goku wonders how long it will take them to reach the next town. Hakaki told him that they would reach the next town after crossing the mountains. Goku saw the shadow of mountain bandits attacking them and gasped.
Hakaki realizes they are under attack and manages to control the truck’s steering wheel to stop it. They get out of the truck, and Hakaki wonders if their divine punishment has arrived. Goku wielded his weapon and told the bandits that he was the top-class assassin. Sanzo realizes that he has time to excise while punishing those guys. Hakaki stops them from attacking and reminds Sanzo and Goku that those guys are humans. Sanzo realizes that he cannot feel the demonic aura from those guys. The bandits thought that Goku and his crew were demons.
Hakaki decided to knock them out since they could not kill humans. Sanzo wonders what is happening since the bandits they are facing possess power that is not human. They shot one of the bandits, and he melted into a puppet. Hakaki gets worried about what the demons have said, and Sanzo tells the crew to leave since the storm is coming. Later Goku and the others are in the town and decide to look for the inn. Hazel realizes that Goku is exceptional after he jumps, grabs his hat, and gives it back.
