The Korean music industry proudly boasts of good-looking and insanely talented artists who make us swoon over them at every chance they get! While the netizens from some of the western countries bet without thinking much that most of them look alike, anyone with the right mind would beg to differ. K-pop idols not only have amazing personalities but also different facial features that make them look unique and beautiful. However, amidst the ocean of Korean idols who have been in showbiz for quite a long time or enter the world of K-pop every year, sometimes we come across idols who look very identical to each other— so much that the resemblance leaves us stunned! Some of these K-pop idols look so alike that they can be mistaken as twins or at least siblings.
Here are the top ten K-pop artists who look similar to each other. Who knows, you might end up discovering your favorite idols’ living doppelgangers!
1. BTS’s Suga and SEVENTEEN’s Woozi
Woozi from Seventeen looks like the ‘baby’ version of BTS’ Suga and that’s not even a question anymore. You can tell it right away if you take a glance at their pictures placed side by side. Starting from having similar facial highlights like their round faces and smiling eyes to their music interests of songwriting and composing, Suga and Woozi resemble each other a lot despite the latter being three years younger than him.
They even dyed their hair with the same color at the same time a few years ago and made the netizens gush even more! While Suga is a rapper, Woozi is more into singing. As for their relationship with each other, Seventeen has a heartwarming friendship with their sunbaenim BTS, evident through variety show interactions back in 2015 during the time BTS paid a visit to ‘The Show’ in order to support Seventeen.
2. CLC’s Sorn and EVERGLOW’s E:U
If it is ever revealed that CLC’s Sorn had lost her twin when they were younger, it might be E:U from EVERGLOW! During the Simply Concert event on the television music show, Simply K-Pop in 2019, CLC’s Sorn and B.I.G’s Benji were hosting the show, and one of the performers of the night included the rookie K-pop girl group, EVERGLOW. As E:U and Sorn shared pictures of them together, fans couldn’t stop but comment how much alike they looked! Calling them the ‘Fried-haired Sisters,’ the pictures were circulated on Twitter as fans finally got concrete proof of their resemblance!
3. BTS’s Jungkook and Day6’s Sungjin
Sungjin, who is the main vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and the leader of the band Day6, has been viral on social media many a time because of the similarity he bears with BTS’ golden maknae, Jungkook. If someone looks at them for the first time, it won’t be surprising if he assumes Sungjin to be the older brother of Jungkook or is at least related to him by blood. In fact, many new ARMYs still think that Sungjin is Jungkook’s older brother, Jeon Jung Hyun, when he himself hasn’t revealed his face to the public. Jeon Jung Hyun is known for his amazing fan arts, digital drawings, and animations (some of which are of BTS) that he had posted on Instagram before disabling his account last year.
4. SEVENTEEN’s Jun and Super Junior’s Heechul
It’s not every day that a senior k-pop idol says that someone looks exactly like him at their first meeting! But that’s the story of Super Junior’s Heechul and SEVENTEEN’s Jun’s the first time meeting each other. Back in May 2016, Heechul jokingly said that he was wondering why Jun was so good-looking as it turned out that he was his visual twin. Fans had been waiting their entire life to see them interacting with each other, and the dream finally came true when the two met each other on the variety show ‘Ask Us Anything’ in 2019! As Jun walked out to the front, he revealed that there was someone he wanted to greet, and turning towards Super Junior’s Kim Heechul, he called him out as ‘Dad’. Heechul continued to joke as he introduced Jun as his hidden son, and the father and son duo hugged each other.
5. SEVENTEEN’s Joshua and Oh My Girl’s Binnie
SEVENTEEN’s Joshua and Binnie of the girl group, OH MY GIRL, have been getting a lot of attention lately because of how similar they look. With their identical face shape, eyes, nose, jawline, lips, and smile, they indeed have a twin-like appearance! Both Joshua and Binnie are known to have the look of an ‘innocent deer’ when looking at others, and that makes a little too many features of them to be coincidences. Amazingly enough, even the way Binnie sings reminds some fans of Joshua.

6. JYJ’s Jaejoong and NCT 127’s Taeyong
Ever since Taeyong made his debut in the K-pop industry in 2013 as a member of SM Rookies, his visuals have always been a talk of the community as people have been drawing striking resemblance with JYJ’s Jaejoong, who was under SM Entertainment as well. Although they are different generations’ K-pop idols (Jae-joong debuted in 2003), it is still hard to deny how alike they look. Starting from their face shape, cheekbones, jawline, and sharp eyes, the netizens have claimed that they even share similar smiles and personalities. Looking at their pictures in which they have dyed their hair with the same colors, it seems like they have been cloning each other!
7. Suzy and EVERGLOW’s Sihyeon
Whether it’s Sihyeon’s hair or her makeup, there’s something that makes her look so much like Bae Suzy. No doubt, both of them are super pretty, but even their facial features match! Be it Sihyeon’s dance moves or her energy on the stage, Sihyeon seems to remind us of Suzy, especially her hair flips, which can give us a complete deja-vu! She seems like Miss A Era Suzy and has bunny-like features like her. Obviously, Suzy and Sihyeon are not related, but they might have been sisters in their last birth!
8. Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Red Velvet’s Irene
Over time, we can see how Red Velvet’s Irene is becoming more and more like Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, both visually and in personality! The resemblance is so striking that except for the most dedicated fans, the others will face a bit of tough luck identifying them at once. Back in 2016, a GIF featuring Irene and Wendy next to each other sparked an online debate on the internet over whether she was Irene or Taeyeon. If not twins, we can easily pass them for siblings!
9. ITZY’s Yeji and Stray Kids’ Hyunjin
Stray Kids’ Hyunjin and ITZY’s Yeji are a part of the fan-made ‘Power Siblings’ community involving ENHYPEN’s Niki as well. For a duo who share the same last name, are born in the same year, is this talented and look so much alike, how is it even possible for them to not be related! In our opinion, at least they are gotta be cousins or something like that! The two of them have been acquainted with each other as trainees at JYP Entertainment.
Last year when they were selected to host the Asia Song Festival in Ulsan, the netizens couldn’t help but draw visual similarities as they stood next to each other! They almost lost it when Hyunjin proved himself to be a perfect gentleman, which he is when he showcased his considerate and caring nature towards his labelmate. We definitely need to see some more moments of ‘Hwang siblings’ of the K-Pop industry!
10. BTOB’s Minhyuk and TXT’s Soobin
Look at a selfie of them together and watch yourself struggle initially to figure out who is who! Not even just the strangers but also the fans of the respective fandom get confused at times. One time when Minhyuk answered the questions of fans about himself in an interview, he was asked who does he think looked like him the most, to which he himself admitted that TXT’s Soobin resembles him a lot. He answered that he never had anyone tell him about any lookalike before Soobin came into the picture.
Even his friends and family members have pointed out the striking resemblance they share with each other! Soobin was almost ready to carry out a prank on April Fool’s Day together with Minhyuk to tease his fans!
