Venezuelan filmmaker Jonathan Jakubowicz directed Rubén Blades, Edgar Ramírez, Robert DeNiro, Usher, John Turturro, Ellen Barkin and Pedro Budu Perez in this biopic of the Panamanian boxer Roberto “Hands of Stone” Durán. Here, Ana De Armas plays Felicidad Iglesias, a girlfriend that Roberto Durán had during his career.

From the director of “The Hangover” and “Joker” comes this real-life story of two men who, in the middle of the war in Iraq, managed to procure arms contracts for the Department of Defense while banking great amounts of money until they made the wrong deal with the wrong kind of people and had to pay the ultimate price for it.
For this movie, Ana De Armas spoke hardly any English when she was cast for this movie, as it was her first American role. Moreover, she had to learn her lines phonetically and had to use that approach for the shooting. But when a script change took place, and she couldn’t handle a conversation, the producers put her in English lessons, and she mastered the language in a short time.
