Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog may have plans to continue remaking Lara Croft’s original adventures beyond Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis. According to a report from PSInsideFR on X, remakes of Tomb Raider II and Tomb Raider III are reportedly already planned.

The claim allegedly comes from sources connected to Flying Wild Hog, which is co-developing Legacy of Atlantis with Crystal Dynamics. The report suggests the two classic games are being considered even before the first remake reaches players, although neither project has been officially announced.

Legacy of Atlantis is a modern reimagining of the 1996 original Tomb Raider, rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 by Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog. The game is scheduled to launch on February 12, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

If the new report proves accurate, the developers could be looking to remake the first three classic adventures as a connected revival of Lara’s early years. Tomb Raider II originally followed Lara to locations including Venice, Tibet, and China, while Tomb Raider III expanded her adventure across multiple global settings.

However, the rumored sequels should be treated cautiously. Crystal Dynamics, Flying Wild Hog, and Amazon Games have not confirmed development of either remake, making Legacy of Atlantis the only officially announced classic-game reimagining currently in production.
