Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered has received a new Community Update, bringing several player-requested improvements to the classic Lara Croft collection. The patch is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and other platforms, with one of its biggest additions being 60 FPS support in Classic Graphics Mode.
According to the official Aspyr Support patch notes, the update focuses on quality-of-life features, technical fixes, and performance improvements. It follows the recent Challenge Mode updates, with Aspyr continuing to address community feedback across the remastered trilogy.
Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered Now Runs at 60 FPS in Classic Graphics Mode
The most notable feature of the Community Update is the addition of 60 FPS gameplay in Classic Graphics Mode. Players can now experience the original-style visuals at a smoother frame rate, improving the classic presentation while preserving its distinctive retro appearance.
Aspyr has also added a brightness slider, allowing players to adjust visibility across all three games. The developer recommends using the feature primarily with HD Graphics Mode. Meanwhile, important collectible items are now brighter and easier to spot when playing with the remastered visuals are enabled.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version has also received several fixes targeting specific levels and gameplay problems. These include issues that could cause Lara or enemies to become stuck in St. Francis Folly, along with softlocks in Highland Fling and a problem involving the T-Rex death sequence.
The patch also fixes missing or incorrect enemy spawns, environmental clipping, flickering textures, and an issue in the Crash Site where an airplane cargo door could fail to open. Several Classic Mode visual problems have also been addressed.
Other improvements across multiple platforms include fixes for ammo displays, Challenge Mode modifiers, collision problems, ladder interactions, controller settings, Photo Mode, and level-specific progression issues. The update also improves the reliability of Lara’s running Swan Dive when using touch controls.
The new patch gives Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 players a smoother and more polished way to revisit Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, particularly for those who prefer the original visual style over the HD presentation.
