Thus, he decided that he would actually try to protect her sister once by killing Taiju once and for all. The present Toman members were disappointed how Hakkai lied about protecting his family but they still encouraged him to take a stand which resulted in Hakkai fighting his brother at last.
Although they were no match to Tajiu, Hakkai, and Takemitchi kept on fighting the former until they could. Fans then learned about how Yuzuha had promised to take care of the family as a promise to their dying mother which resulted in the former always getting beaten up for everything.
