Previously, in This Life Starts As A Child Actor Chapter 23, we saw that Kang Soo Hyun had met Seo Han, and they had a really good conversation. Seo Han tells Kang Soo Hyun that he had done a very good job in his recent movie. He also compliments his manager, Mr. Chae Min.
Just then, out of nowhere, Kang Soo Hyun is called to the airport as he has to leave for France. And the next thing he knew, he was in France. He could not believe that he would grow to become such a great actor at this age.
Kang Soo Hyun is also asked in an interview if he is expecting any wins today, to which he replies modestly. Attending the Cannes Film Festival at this age was a huge win in itself. But to his surprise, he wins the Chopard Trophy.
Kang Soo Hyun then became the first Korean to win the Chopard Trophy, making everyone proud. It was the Cannes Newcomer Award and was awarded to a male or a female actor with a promising future. This was just phenomenal.
As he should be, Kang Soo Hyun gets nervous and forgets all of his memorized testimonials. If he knew this would happen, he would have stayed up all night to memorize them perfectly. As he walks up to the stage, he trips over and falls on his face.
Kang Soo Hyun then loses one of his teeth, and the audience finds it very cute. He is a kid, so he will surely grow a new one. And just like that, Kang Soo Hyun was carved into history in front of everyone. He is also given the name Blanche because he looks cute holding his fallen tooth.
