The best voices in the nation are invited to compete in the latest season of the four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series “The Voice,” which debuted on NBC on February 26 at 8 p.m. PT/ET.
Five stages of competition comprise the show’s unique format: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs, and Live Performance Shows. “I was on ‘The Voice’ previously!”
The blind auditions continued on episode three. Asher Havon and Ashley Bryant joined Team Reba. Corey Curtis and Kamalei Kawa joined Team Chance. Madison Curbelo and Frank Garcia joined Team Dan + Shay. Jackie Romeo, Rivers Grayson, and Bryan Olesen joined Team Legend. Let’s keep the blinds going!

Chance, Dan + Shay, and Anya True turned their chairs for Anya True’s rendition of “Until I Found You,” to start the evening. Shay compared her to Olivia Rodrigo and described it as a “flawless performance.” He added that her voice was stronger because of its flaws.
As a possible mentor, Chance informed her that he would “lean in” to her inspirations and described her voice as “amazing.” Anya received no criticism from Reba; instead, she was told that it “wasn’t what [she’s] looking for.”
John explained that the fact that she is 17 explains why he didn’t turn around and why he was worried about her voice. Dan and Shay were thrilled to have Anya join their team, and when she chose them, it might have been because of their overwhelming excitement for her.
William Alexander, a 16-year-old first-generation Indian American, was the next performer. His parents had always encouraged him, sending him to talent events as a child. With “ceilings,” William was able to win over Reba and Chance. Dan said that as the performance progressed, it “got exponentially better.”
Chance remarked that no one sounds like him and emphasized how distinctive his tone is. William’s emotional connection to Reba came from his dedication of the song to his grandfather. He made the decision to join Team Reba by going with his “gut.”
Self-referred to as “cat lady” The next performer on stage was Alyssa Crosby, who sang “Hand in My Pocket.” Carson kept expecting that Reba would finally give in to her feelings for Alyssa during the performance, but that didn’t happen until the very end of the song.
As Reba was the only coach to ultimately turn, Team Reba was guaranteed to win. Alyssa’s voice has a “nice roundness,” according to John, while Dan found some parts of it “pitchy.” Alyssa has “a great voice,” so Reba was happy to have her on the team.
Rletto, who traveled from Los Angeles to Orlando for the event, grew up listening to his grandmother sing, which gave him the idea to pursue a career in pop music. He describes himself as an artist who is a cross between Doja Cat and The Weeknd.
Reba later challenged Chance, who was the first coach to press his button during the “golden hour” audition. She praised his vocals and runs, describing it as a “wonderful performance.” While acknowledging that he was “right on the brink” of turning his chair, John believes he still needs “more tightening.”
Chance claims he never lost control of the song and referred to his runs as “intentional.” Rletto joined Chance’s team since he thought he would be his best option going forward.
