The next well-known face to join the ensemble of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, a lavish prequel thriller series on Prime Video, is Luke Hemsworth. He becomes a member of the ensemble, which also includes Chris Pratt, Tom Hopper, and Taylor Kitsch.
Hemsworth will portray narcissistic CIA contractor Jules Landry, whose physically strong exterior belies a highly unstable and deadly personality.
The news was initially reported by Deadline. While Hopper is a new character who goes by the name Raife Hastings, Pratt and Kitsch return to their respective roles as Ben Edwards and James Reece from The Terminal List.
Five years before the events of the first show, in the prequel series, Reece becomes entangled in a perilous government conspiracy that jeopardizes the safety of everyone he holds dear.
Luke Hemsworth Joins Dark Wolf for Prequel Series
The forthcoming series will provide some backstory on how Reece, Edwards, and their team members came to be where they are, as well as depict the squad’s struggle with the psychological effects and brutal realities of war.
David DiGilio, the driving force behind the Prime Video adaptation, is collaborating with Jack Carr, the novelist behind the Terminal List series that served as the basis for both the original series and its prequel. Together, they are producing Dark Wolf.
The series’ executive producer, Antoine Fuqua, who directed Training Day and The Equalizer, is among the directors who support their creative team. During an interview with media Steve Weintraub on The Equalizer 3, Fuqua disclosed his involvement in the show and stated that should his schedule let it, he would like to direct one or two episodes starring Pratt.
With such a talented team leading the way, action thriller fans should expect Dark Wolf to be another smash, since the film was made by professionals who understand the nuances of the genre. The most well-known role of Luke Hemsworth is that of Ashley Stubbs in the science fiction television series Westworld on HBO.
Along with his brother Chris and brother Liam Hemsworth, who are all well-known actors from prominent Hollywood roles, he is also well-known for being a member of the Hemsworth family.
Hemsworth also appeared in a humorous stage production in Thor: Ragnarok as a variation of his brother Chris’s role. His most recent film appearance was with Morgan Freeman in Gunner.
