The Owl House Season 2 Episode 14 sees Luz taking Amity to a place where she can prove herself to her father. But before we move to that, it was Willow and Hunter’s big day recently. That was a question lying around. Coming to Willow, she had found an exciting new sport for herself. But first, she needed to form a team and defeat the opposition in a friendly match in order to enter the sport.

The Owl House S02E13 Recap
Previously on The Owl House Season 2, Hunter was going to lead the Coven Heads. But, he had to first prove himself. Darius took away his old Golden Guard Sigil. If Hunter wants it back, he needs to go out there and find recruits for the Coven Heads. Meanwhile, back at the Hexside, Willow was preparing for the Flyer Derby match and was forming her own Flyer Derby Team from the Hexside.
Luz, on her side, was selling the book The Good Witch Azura. That was until Amity came telling her that author of Azura was having a signing in the afternoon. While Luz and Amity decided to go and meet her, Hunter went undercover at the Hexside. He eventually ended up crossing paths with Willow, who wanted to take him on her team. After all, Hunter had amazing flying skills, which she saw.
Professor Hermonculus had challenged Willow. If she manages to defeat his team in a friendly flyer derby match., then only he will approve of her team. Initially, Hunter thought this team wouldn’t work, but soon they trained themselves to perform the way they are. The match began, and eventually, with teamwork, Hunter took his team to victory.

Once the match was over, Hunter revealed his identity and asked them to join Emperor’s Coven. They realized he was the one Luz was talking about and denied it. But they were forcefully taken and were put in cells. Later on, Darius gives the hunter his Sigil back and takes away his friends.
It took some time for Hunter to realize his mistake. Eventually, he came to the rescue of his friends, and he decided to let them go. Darius was really happy that Hunter managed to befriend them, and Hunter. Thus, he proved that he deserved the Sigil. On the other hand, Luz and Amity chased the author only to realize it was Tibbles behind them.
