Seven months have passed since the First and Second Ladies of The Oval got into a battle in the center of the White House, sending both of them falling over a balcony. In the eagerly anticipated Season 5 opener on Tuesday, it was discovered that both Victoria and Simone had survived the fall.
While other women would have been seriously injured, these two winners got back up and carried on with their sparring. Victoria went so far as to force the Secret Service to keep Simone back so she could sneak in a few more hits. The icing on the cake, though, had to be Victoria’s cry, “Lock her up!”
Anyway, Victoria strolled over to the Oval Office after giving the Second Lady a hard time, only to find her coked-out husband unconscious on the floor. When the White House physicians determined it was a fentanyl overdose, things rapidly got out of hand, and before Victoria could say anything positive about her most recent triumph, Hunter was carried out. And half the joy is in the boasting.
Recap Of The Oval, Season 5, Episode 1
The title for the episode was “Turning Tables.” Luckily, Victoria got another chance to brag when she spoke with Eli on the phone. She informed him, a sick, content smile on her lips, “Your wife came here, and we fought like two hood bitches over a piece of chicken.” After feigning concern for Simone for a scant fifteen seconds, Eli made some crucial connections: given that Hunter is temporarily out of action, does that mean he is now president?
Smoldering glares were exchanged between Allan and Dale in the police station as they discussed their shared involvement in the apparent drug conspiracy running out of Kareem’s pharmacy. Allan’s future boyfriend (remember that we named it!) consented to assist him in concealing an enigmatic box at his flat while he was still under arrest.
This week’s other events include the discovery that Donald is still very much alive and expresses gratitude to the “hot piece of ass” in his bed for taking the bullets intended for him; the abduction of Jason, now known as “Mike,” by a member of a cult to meet with the Highest; and the hospitalization of a bewildered Nancy, who claims Richard choked her and has no memory of taking pills or attempting suicide.
However, the night’s most memorable moment happened just at the end of the hour. After a very awkward meeting in Bobby’s hotel room, Priscilla attempted to leave politely, but Sam stormed in and loaded his pistol into Bobby’s chest. Following that maneuver, in typical Oval flair, he said to his wife, “Bitch, get home and wash my f-ing clothes,” in a completely insane manner. What?
