He mentioned that all 10 episodes have been edited and are now in the final stages of post-production. Ryan admitted he is unsure when Netflix will release the season. “We have finished editing all 10 episodes and are just working on sound, music, and VFX. We’re working hard to have the episodes ready for fans as soon as possible!” Ryan said.

The series, led by Gabriel Basso, will introduce new characters played by Amanda Warren (Catherine), Arienne Mandi (Noor), Louis Hearthum (Jacob Monroe), Berto Colon (Solomon), Keon Alexander (Javad), Michael Malarkey, Marwan Kenzari, Elise Kibler, Dikran Tulaine, Navid Negahban, Rob Heaps, Brittany Snow, and Teddy Sears.
These additions suggest an expansion of The Night Agent’s storyline, with a new conspiracy involving Iranian players coming to light.
Fans will be introduced to Catherine, a top boss in The Night Agent program, just in time for a new threat as an Iranian mission arrives in New York City.
Noor has some information she wants to trade, but this will happen under the watchful eye of Javad, whose mission is to ensure everyone in the Iranian mission remains loyal to their country and cause.
The story will also feature other key players, including Monroe, a globally powerful businessman, and Solomon, an ex-marine who works as a fixer.
With The Night Agent’s huge success, Netflix has signed a deal with Shawn Ryan. This deal strengthens the possibility of expanding The Night Agent into a larger franchise. Ryan signed an overall deal, which puts him in a strong position to expand the series or develop other shows for Netflix.
