The Bumpy Road To Season 3

Once The Mandalorian’s spin-off series had been completed, the production of the program was pushed back further due to the filming of Obi-Wan Kenobi at Manhattan Beach Studios, which uses the same soundstages as The Mandalorian.
Although filming for the third season apparently began in September 2021, actor Carl Weathers (Greef Karga) confirmed it on October 13, 2021, to the delight of fans. Then a couple of days ago, the cast and crew confirmed that they had concluded the photography for the widely expected third season!
The Mandalorian Season 3 Release Date

We can’t tell for sure how long those post-production things are going to go. But here’s a guide if we consider that season two’s filming ended in March, and the show dropped in October. Also, to keep hopes up, The Book of Boba Fett followed a similar post-production schedule, having concluded its initial photography back in June ’21 and dropping on Disney+ in late December that year. Please consider that Mandalorian 3 dropping here is still up for grabs. Bear in mind, Lucasfilm has bigger fish to fry: Namely Andor and Obi-Wan Kenobi. That means that those titles have precedence over this one.
