Nintendo has officially announced the release date for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on Nintendo Switch 2. The updated version of the classic adventure will launch worldwide on November 5, 2026, following its initial announcement earlier this year.
Nintendo initially revealed the Ocarina of Time remake in June but offered only a brief glimpse at the project. During the Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct on September 8, the company finally showed a proper gameplay trailer, giving fans their first extended look at the remake’s visual presentation and gameplay.

The release date and trailer were reported by Nintendo Everything, with producer Eiji Aonuma introducing the new footage during the presentation.
