Fans are already dying of excitement for tvN’s upcoming murder-mystery investigation comic drama The Killer’s Shopping List, and the teasers and trailers being released on the daily are adding fuel to their anticipation. After the pilot, fans don’t have to have too long for the release of The Killer’s Shopping List Episode 2. The main characters of The Killer’s Shopping List include Dae Sung (played by lee Kwang Soo), an aspirant for public service with excellent memory powers who is currently working at the convenience store called MS Mart, Han Myung Sook (played by Jin Hee Kyung) who owns MS Mart and Do Ah Hee (played by Kim Seol Hyun) who is a diligent police officer and Dae Sung’s long-time girlfriend.
When a mysterious murder case occurs in the apartment complex they live in, and Dae Sung is somehow suspected as the culprit of the crime, the quirky trio of Dae Sung, Hang Myung Sook, and Do Ah Hee start their investigation of the matter to find the culprit in their own special ways. The team behind the show is continuously releasing new teaser photos to excite the fans. Teasers Featuring Lee Kwang Soo’s Dae Sung
Lee Kwang Soo has garnered a massive following not only as a famous variety star owing to his appearance in the worldwide hit variety show SBS Running Man but also as an actor for his sublime and realistic acting skills that breathe a new life into his characters by bringing out their humane side along with natural comic timing. Thus, it is no wonder that fans are hugely awaiting his return to the small screen after four years, his last television acting gig being the 2018 police drama Live.
In the teasers released for his upcoming show, we see Lee Kwang Soo portray various sides of his character Dae Sung for the photoshoot. The photos feature Dae Sung in curly hair wearing a grey sweatshirt adorning his neon-orange uniform vest as an employee of MS Mart. Dae Sung is clicked in various poses, ranging from holding a barcode scanner and a blood-stained receipt with a suspicious expression, alluding to his super-impressive deductive and mental-math skills.
Dae Sung is also photographed examining small pieces of paper that are probably evidences with a pair of tweezers so as to avoid getting his own fingerprints on them. In the show, Dae Sung surprises the enquiring detectives with his extraordinary memory power by not only reciting personal information about the visitors of the mart but also giving out a TMI that the victim of the murder was a regular in the mart.
Dae Sung’s Relationship With His Mother & Father
Dae Sung’s father is Ahn Young Choon (played by Shin Sung Woo), who runs a fruit and vegetable truck at the local market. Ahn Young Choon is a heart-stealer of all the ladies around him with good looks that he has maintained even in his fifties. In the teaser photo, he is seen giving his wife Myung Sook a back hug.
The Killer’s Shopping List Episode 2 Release Date
The Killer’s Shopping List Episode 2 will be released on 28th April 2022 (Thursday) at 10:30 PM KST. In other time zones, that is 11:30 PM AEST, 7 PM IST, and 8:30 AM EST. The Killer’s Shopping List will be airing its pilot on the Korean television channel tvN. The Killer’s Shopping List will be a short drama with only eight episodes, with each Episode having a total runtime of 60 minutes. It will be replacing the previously tvN drama Kill Heel airing Wednesday-Thursday.
