The Bachelor franchise has added a brand new show to the list of all the Bachelor shows. It is The Golden Bachelor, and it will follow the same format as the OG Bachelor show, but the difference will be the age of the cast members. All the cast members will be above the age of 60 and going up to 75.
We have our first Golden Bachelor, Gerry Turner, and he will try to find love from the list of 22 women around his age who are also looking for love. And we will be going through all of these flawless women and trying to know everything about them.
This first season of Golden Bachelor premiered on September 28th. The episodes are going to be one hour from 8:00 to 9:00 PT, and then you will get to see Bachelor in Paradise from 9:00 to 11:00 PT.

April
Let’s start this list with April. She seems like a Boss B. She kind of reminds me of Anna from Bling Empire just by the pose alone. She is from Port St. Lucie, Florida. She is a therapist, and she dreams of writing a best-selling book. OK, well, April, you better write a book. Write a Tell All on the Golden Bachelor.

Christina
Then we have Christina, and she is 73, so she might be our oldest contestant. Because I did browse through the list, and she is definitely the oldest. I love her outfit, and she is from Sierra Madre, California. She is a retired purchasing manager.
Christina’s fun fact is that her first concert ever was The Beatles in 1964. So they are saying that she is the coolest woman to appear in this franchise ever. OK, Christina, we love The Beatles 1964.
Edith
Next up on The Golden Bachelor Cast list, we have Edith, who is 60. She is from Downey, California. She’s a retired realtor, and she is building an ADU and is the project manager. I don’t know what an ADU is, but it sounds cool.
Then Edith’s fun fact says that she seems like a woman who will know when a zombie apocalypse hits. OK, well, that is important.
Also, Edith has fabulous hair. I mean, this whole photo shoot of all the women, they all look absolutely Fabulous. The way they posed together and they also all had their individual shots. But the group photo and the video are honestly so amazing.
Ellen
Next up on the Golden Bachelor Cast, we have Ellen, who is 71. She is from Delray Beach, FL, and is a retired teacher. Ellen’s fun fact is that she loves dancing. The Bachelor Nation is encouraging her “to dance like no one’s watching.”
That’s like a quote from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: “Dance like nobody’s watching.” All of these women definitely have hair stylists because all of their hair is just so flawless.
Faith
Then we have Faith, who is 60, so Faith is the youngest contestant on the cast. She is from Benton City, Washington. She is a high school teacher, so she is still working. And if she wants to move to Indiana, she’s gonna have to get a new teaching job there.
Faith’s fun fact says that she loves riding her horse through the mountains and is very outdoorsy, just like Gerry, the Golden Bachelor. OK, Faith, I feel like Faith is gonna be a personality this season.
Jeanie
Then we have Jeanie, who’s 65. She is from Estill Springs, Tennessee, and is a retired project manager. Her favorite color is neon, so people can’t wait to see her Night One dress. So she might be wearing a neon dress on the Night one. I love neon, and that’s a great color. Coachella has a Neon carnival at night, and it’s like so much fun.
Joan
Then we have Joan, who’s 60 and is also the youngest on the cast, along with Faith. Joan is from Maryland, and she is a private school administrator. And her fun fact says that she “loves to dance after a few glasses of wine.” Does she like dancing without wine, or do you have to give her wine to make her Dance?
Kathy
Then we have Kathy, who’s 70, she’s from Austin, Texas. She looks like she comes from royalty, and she looks rich. She is a retired educational consultant. Her fun fact is that she is obsessed with Christmas. Well, I love that she’s obsessed with Christmas. That’s important. I feel like Gerry is definitely obsessed with Christmas, too.
Leslie
Then we have Leslie, who is 64. I think she looks like she could be on The Real Housewives. This girl looks fabulous and bougie and New York. She’s from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She’s a fitness instructor, and she is a former aerobics champion. Wow, she looks fabulous, and I think she’s gonna go far.
Maria
Then we have Maria, who is 60. So she’s also one of the younger contestants. She is from Teaneck, New Jersey. She is a health and Wellness director. Her fun fact says that “she has never gone paintballing, but she would want to try.”
Well, it looks like producers have their first group day activity sorted. Oh my God, they’re gonna go paintballing in the first group activity? Paintballing is not fun. I had to do it once when I was a kid for a birthday party of a friend, and I was so scared. That hurts, and paintballing hurts. Does she really wanna try that, Maria?
Marina
Then next on the Golden Bachelor Season 1 Cast list, we have Marina, who’s also 60. and then Nancy is 60 too. OK, a lot of these women are 60 in this cast list.
Marina is from Los Angeles, she is an educator, and she has three master’s degrees. OK, Maria, she looks smart, and I love her little highlight.
Nancy
Then we have Nancy, who’s also 60, she’s from Alexandria, Virginia, and she is a retired interior designer. Her fun fact says that “She is a Bruce Springsteen stan.” And she says that if she doesn’t get a date featuring a concert from the boss, then that will be a shame. OK, well, maybe she’ll get a one-on-one date if she sticks around. Play your cards right, Nancy.
Natascha
Then we have Natascha, who is also 60, so I feel like all the women are now 60. I was like, “She’s the youngest,” and now there’s like six 60-year-old women in a row.
Natasha is from New York, and she is a pro-aging coach and midlife speaker. Her fun fact says, “She wants to make bell bottoms to come back.” I feel like Bell Bottoms has made a comeback. So were the Bell bottoms on the show, and we’ll see if they make a comeback, Natasha, because they already have come back.
Pamela
Then we have Pamela, 75, and she looks super kooky. She’s from Aurora, Illinois, and she’s a retired salon owner. Her fun fact says, “She cannot get enough and wants more of Judge Judy in her life.” I wonder how she feels about Judy Justice.
Patty
Now, let’s talk about Patty. She’s 70, and she’s Matt James’s mom. So she’s from Durham, North Carolina. I’ve never been to Durham, so I don’t know how to pronounce it.
But she is a retired real estate professional. She loves body glitter, which I do too, and so does Jess from Zach season, who’s also gonna be on Bachelor on Paradise. Her fun fact says, “She encourages the people to do the same.”
When there were rumors that she was gonna be on the Golden Bachelor, I literally thought it was fake. I thought this was like a press release to potentially cover up the breakup rumors that Matt James and Rachel never even broke up. They just, like, didn’t post together for a few weeks and then potentially didn’t do it on purpose just to get more press.
I don’t know, and clearly, I shouldn’t be looking into things about Matt and Rachel cause I was shocked that Patty was actually going to be on the show. I thought it was fake, and I thought it was just like rumors just to distract us. But no, Patty is on the show. And it is so exciting that we have a former Bachelor’s mom on the show.
I’m surprised there isn’t more than one, and I’m surprised it’s Matt James. I definitely thought as soon as they said that there was gonna be a Golden Bachelor, I definitely thought there would be at least someone’s mom on the show. I thought it’d be a former contestant’s mom, but it ended up being Matt James’.
So that’s amazing, and I think that’s super fun. But I kind of wish that a few of the moms were on it. Obviously, pilot Pete’s mom, Barb, is married, but I hope she makes an appearance.
We know Caitlin Bristow will be making an appearance this season, and she is hosting a group date. They are filming some type of talent show or something at Agoura Hills at the Canyon Club on one of the first group dates.
Peggy
Then we have Peggy, who’s 69. She’s from East Haven, CT. She’s a dental hygienist, and she is a go-karting enthusiast. Her fun fact says that “if the paintball group date idea doesn’t work out, then producers have another option.” This paintball group date, we’re hearing so much about it.
Renee
Then, on the Golden Bachelor Cast list, we have Renee, who is 67 years old. She is from Chicago, and she’s a former Chicago Honey Beers cheerleader. Her fun fact says, “She wants to meet Harry Styles, and now this dream could just be attainable.” You got this, Renee. You will meet Harry Styles, I promise; just put it out there.
Sandra
Then we have Sandra, who is 75, and she looks very, very classy. She is a retired executive assistant from Georgia. She’s very proud of her high credit score. I love her hair; it has so much volume and so much height, and it looks so good.
Susan
Then we have Susan, 66, and I saw some people think that she looks like Kris Jenner. She is from Aston, Pennsylvania. She’s a wedding officiant and dreams of having lunch with Kris Jenner.
Did she actually dream of having lunch with Kris Jenner, or did Danny, who wrote these BIOS, just put that? I mean, some of these BIOS are just for fun, and we don’t know too much about the women, but it’s interesting.
Well, I think she’ll meet Kris Jenner because Kris Jenner is a Big Bachelor fan. We know the Kardashians and the Bachelor franchise do a lot of cross-promotion, so I would not be surprised if they somehow ended up together. And there also is that girl on TikTok who does such a good job impersonating Kris Jenner. I forgot her name, but she’s fabulous.
Sylvia
Then we have Sylvia, 64, she’s from Los Angeles, and she’s a public affairs consultant. Her fun fact says, “She loves any excuse to wear a costume.” And maybe she will be in luck because the producers of The Bachelor always love to put the contestants in some costumes.
Yeah, maybe she’ll show up in costume on Night One. We’ve had contestants on the regular show show up in a chicken costume, a dolphin costume, and a Penguin costume. So let’s see what Sylvia Sylvia brings.
Theresa
Then we have Theresa, who is of age 69. She looks flawless, she’s from New Jersey, and she could be on the Real Housewives of New Jersey. Oh, my God, she’s a financial services professional. Her fun fact says, “She taught herself everything about the stock market.” That’s great. Would you mind teaching me next, Theresa?
