The First Inventors Episode 3 Preview
In The First Inventors Episode 2, Rob Collins went on a journey to find out and prove the existence of storytelling, which held history in account during the period of Ice Age approximately 10,000 years ago. Oral history is often considered to be less factual than manuscripts or artefacts, and hence is many a times dismissed by the people.
Rob Collins however, went on to prove that Oral history in fact does hold as much evidence as other historical evidences, and he did so by going on an expedition. He visited the people of the First Nations, and interacted with them as they told the events of the Ice Age through the form of story-telling. He cross-referenced it with the written evidences and artefacts to further strengthen their claims.
In The First Inventors Episode 3, Collins will now be delving deep on how the First Nations people had managed to build a society, a community living in harmony amid all the problems that were ongoing during their times. He will be exploring the evolution of the civilization, and how the people built their communication, trade and other networks.
Follow Rob on his journey as he goes on a mission to rewrite the history of Australia’s landscapes and the people there, by exploring the past and communicating with them. Doing so not only helps him learn more of what happened, but also makes him question how the past can help the present modern challenges we face today.
