We will see Sion corner Lala the fox into a corner as he realizes that the furry is the same creature that left him on a fateful day. What looked like a quest that would take multiple days to be achieved was done in a few chapters. The romance series has already begun and we are already seeing great promise for The Duke and The Fox Princess Chapter 6.
These types of tales usually pan out too long ago as if they were a big mystery. While some mysteries can span for chapters in a series, some are made to go on forever. This is why it is a pleasant surprise when the male lead figures out in one go who the fox is.
Now, this means that we can expect some new story beats with new ways for the story to tackle things. Moreover, this would also mean that the two characters will have a new path ahead of them. However, all path leads to the same in a certain genre, and for this romance manhwa, that would be the two becoming one.
Chapter 5 Recap
The Duke and The Fox Princess Chapter 5 starts with the Duke playing around with the Fox. Sion had been playing around with Estrelle for quite a while, and the little white creature had just shown himself in these quarters. Rowan, one of the servants of Duke, got worried by this a little but he also wanted Fox to have a good time.
The female lead was not impressed by anything that was going around her. She was just annoyed that the male lead was treating her as a cute little plaything since she was a fox. But despite the reality of her situation, she resisted being treated like that and bit the male lead whenever she could.
The male lead on his part, didn’t mind any of the passive-aggressive or direct aggressive approaches towards him. He founds the white fox’s behavior to be endearing and treated the little creature with all his care. Moreover, ever since the fox had showed up everyone else in the household has become happier too, as the the white creature had uplifted the mood of the Duke.

The Duke and The Fox Princess Chapter 6 will have the Duke’s house in surprise as the little white fox is given a name by the duke. Sion wants to be careful about this and wants to come up with a name best suited for the little creature, as per the advice of his servant. However, what he said in the last chapter hints that he already knows the identity of the little fox.
Estrelle is hoping to be saved and turn to her true form, even surprising people once she is done with that. However, she didn’t expect the Duke to figure out what her true identity was, and this shook her in the last chapter. As to why Duke knew about the identity of the new pet that showed up will be shown in the last chapter.
