Recap
In the previous chapter of The Dilettante, Hana thinks of a pretty reckless plan to get to Guilio, and his right-hand man, Lorenzo, reluctantly helps her with it. We see that Guilio got extremely mad at Lorenzo, and he had an explosive moment himself. Meanwhile, Hana went barging inside the building with a GPS tracker lodged in her.
However, the GPS tracker probably breaks because she gets injured in that exact spot because of the collision. To make matters worse, Eunseong had cornered her and slammed her into the wall. He talks like a crazy person, asking her to give him attention.
He talks about how she can’t go back to Korea or Italy and that Peranti wouldn’t be able to protect her anymore. Eunseong shamelessly says that it is still not too late to join him when a huge explosion shakes up the entire building, surprising him.
He was confused because the bomb shouldn’t have affected the building, but Hana revealed she had some tricks up her sleeve. Meanwhile, Guilio had a breakdown when he saw the building shake and fall apart, but he was barely held back by his subordinate. Hana reveals that she will cover up the murder as the building collapses.
She is obviously injured and too tired to move her body. However, maybe it is her bad luck that she finds herself stuck in an elevator with the crazy guy. Eunseong tries to look after Hana’s thigh injury, and then he begins talking about his past as the oxygen starts running out.
