The Delivery Man From Murim Chapter 30 will be airing this weekend! Previously, Kang So had gotten into a fight with a monster that called himself a “collector”. His main purpose was to collect despair orbs that were compressed emotions of fear and despair of the humans that were dying and give it to “him”.
Meanwhile, Kang So’s true identity too comes to a risk as he’s confronted by one of the victims of the collector; asking who he really is.
The upcoming chapter of the Manhwa will explore more onwho “he” is and the reason for him appointing collectors to bring him despair orbs. Will this mysterious person be someone Kang So knows or perhaps a new addition to the story?
Recap
Kang So finally catches the Vice Director red handed on the company rooftop while he was harming two of the workers. Seeing him, the Vice Director gets annoyed at him and goes straight to attack Kang So with his claws still out.
Thinking he had caught Kang So, the Vice Director realizes he had escaped and was going round in circles at an unthinkable speed. This only enrages him more while Kang So safely carries the injured workers into a different place.
Kang So asks the Vice Director to show his true form knowing he wasn’t human. Underestimating his power, the Vice Direcotr obliges and shapeshifts from a human to a demi-huan. He grows horns on his head and his claws protude more than before.
As the Vice Director rushes to Kang So with the goal of tearing him to shreds, Kang So simply backs him off with one blow making him fall to the ground. He approaches the Vice Director while he’s laying on the floor and notices that even his blood was black.
It turns out that the monster was using human blood this whole time like a parasite, which made Kang So question if he was a demon with that specific power. Seeing how Kang So had belittled him by calling him a mere demon, the Vice Director gets up and rushes to teach him a lesson.
Kang So now saw the true form of the Vice Director- he was a wolf disguised as a human. Now that he had transformed into his true guise, he was out for Kang So’s blood. However, little did he expect that a simple twisting of his finger would break his whole arm.
The Vice Director squealed in pain and Kang So showed him how to really utilize his skills. Exhausted, the wolf is now questioned on his true identity but he refuses. He asks Kang So to kill him instead claiming to be a proud warrior than a tattle tale.
Seeing how reluctant he was, Kang So starts vigorously punching him till the wolf finally begged him to stop. The Vice Director revealed that he was a ‘collector’ belonging to the “demons tribe”.
He was ordered by a higher up to collect these “despair orbs”, that encapsulated the overwhelming fear and pain of humans right before they died. Kang So asks how many people he had killed and out of fear the collector says he didn’t kill as much as the rest and wont kill anymore if he was spared.
Kang So refused to let him go and killed the Vice Director for the lives he had taken of innocent humans. He decides to leave his body to the association. Meanwhile, the woman who had previously offered to call for backup asks Kang So if he by chance was a Level 0 awakener.
