The Chelsea Detective Season 1 Recap
The Chelsea Detective Season 1 showed how Chelsea, one of London’s beautiful places, hid dark secrets such as murders, greed, and deception.
The first episode was about a man who got killed when a train ran over him on the London Underground. Moreover, many people saw it as it occurred during the morning rush hour.
According to initial evidence, the deceased was a lonely and depressed person who believed in getting followed by a spirit everywhere. He also thought that the spirit left biblical messages for him. However, it turned out that the deceased man, named Andrew Knightley, was murdered.
Max suffered more than expected in the second episode. The case began with finding a missing social media star, Robyn Romano, whose husband, Julia Romano, owned a well-known restaurant in Chelsea. Soon, the missing person case turned into a murder investigation, and Max found himself trapped in Romano’s family politics.
A security guard’s corpse was discovered on the waste ground in the third episode. He was supposedly stabbed to death after a drug deal went wrong, leaving his terminally ill wife behind. Later, the detectives discovered his violent, hooligan, and racist past.
In the fourth episode, a professor, Oliver Cowie, working for a well-known international school, was about to board a plane to Japan but was found dead in his study. It was an unexpected murder as people respected him. However, the detectives found plenty of suspects in this case.
The viewers found it yet another detective story because Max was dealing with a break-up while Shamise was adjusting to her newborn baby. Max had his own style of solving cases. Thus, it was not a typical British crime series.
The first season did not contain intimate scenes, at least between the two protagonists. They did not get involved in each other’s personal lives like any American crime drama. It did not contain action, and the viewers could calmly watch it with a cup of coffee.
The Chelsea Detective Season 2 Episode 1 Preview

The detectives will find out whether the manager is a victim or the robbers’ helper. Thus, the viewers will see another side of the world of art in the first episode.
