If you’ve always been interested in the water and you spent a lot of your youth believing that there is a Bermuda Triangle, this documentary series might be what you should watch next.
The documentary series The Bermuda Triangle: Into Cursed Waters, which has been airing since November 2022, delves deeply into everything associated with the enigmatic location. We were first introduced to the show’s elite group of academics and investigators who study the triangle throughout the seasons.
They take with them a map drawn with great care and detail that shows every location beneath the surface of the water where abnormalities occur. Under these seas, they have discovered mysterious spots that have been witnessing something weird for decades, intriguing people worldwide.
The documentary not only succeeds in piquing our interest in the region again, but it also allows us to sit with the investigators and hear their exploration of various hypotheses and possibilities of what might be occurring beneath all that water.
The team on the show includes historian David O’Keefe, diver and salvage specialist Michael C. Bernette, subject matter expert Wayne Abbott, explorer and treasure hunter Jimmy Gadomski, and many more.
In the show, Mark Halliley and Rushmore DeNooyer play the narrators. You can learn everything there is to know about the strange instances that the Bermuda Triangle sparked, but that, because of their enigmatic character, never came to an end by conducting a fast internet search.
The team behind the show also discusses cases like the missing A3 Skywarrior and the mysterious disappearance of the crew and twenty-seven American Navy aviators from Flight 19, which went missing in the air and were never seen again.
With further hypotheses and rumors surrounding the cursed triangle, the documentary made a grand comeback to our screens as its second season aired recently. Read through to the very end if you’re interested in learning more about the next episode of the new season.
Recap
The season’s opening episode sent us back to 1960, the year of the A3 Skywarrior aircraft’s disappearance. Everyone was gripped by the episode at the moment, but the investigators, in particular, were unable to piece together what had caused the aircraft to disappear off its USS Saratoga carrier.
The second season began with this, and in the next episode, we’ll examine at another enigmatic Bermuda Triangle case. The episode, titled “The Missing Giants,” will center on the twin disappearances of two enormous cargo ships in 1941.
It turns out that these two ships, which were visible from a distance, have disappeared from the face of the planet. After the USS Proteus was lost forever after crossing the Bermuda Triangle, the USS Nereus fell off somewhere we have never been able to locate two weeks later, when the first case was still unsolved.
This season promises to present us with tragic yet fascinating tales of transportation that are so large they end up lost in a territory we haven’t been able to identify.
In 1941, the USS Proteus vanished after navigating the Bermuda Triangle, and two weeks later, the USS Nereus similarly disappeared from Earth. This case is well-known and is the focus of the team’s investigation.
Preview
The group searches for the wreck of the Revonoc, a racing boat that went missing in 1958 with five people on board. At the time of her disappearance, an odd magnetic anomaly was discovered in the Triangle.
