The Beginning After The End Manhwa is still on Hiatus, so the artists have released a side story to keep the fans engaged for the time being. The 10-chapter side story is named “Jasmine The Wind Born,” and it will follow the story of Jasmine Flamesworth, a prodigy who failed to meet her parents’ expectations.
So far in the stories, the fans have seen the growth of Jasmine from a beginner to a full-fledged awakened mage. Jasmine’s parents showered her with praise for her exceptional performance, but everything turned against her when she developed an affinity for wind magic. Shunned by her parents for not having flame affinity, what will Jasmine do now?
The Beginning After The End Chapter 180 opens up with Jasmine remembering the moment when she awakened the wind-type magic stone—the Moment which she thought would make her parents the happiest turned out to be the biggest disaster of Jasmine’s life. Jasmine’s Mother and Father looked at Jasmine in utter disbelief, as there had never been a wind-type mage in the Flamesworth family.

Jasmine tucks her head between her legs and falls asleep while thinking about that moment. The next day, Jasmine wakes up to find that things are going to be a lot different from now on. The first change she finds is in the dining room. Jasmine’s seat is no longer near her father’s seat, which shows how much her father hates her now.
Jasmine asks her brother about their parents, and he replies that they are away on some business. Laurel adds that the business is related to “fixing” Jasmine.
Rowan also adds that their parents are currently trying to hide the fact that Jasmine has a wind-type magic affinity. He further explains that their parents probably will keep hiding this fact until Jasmin awakens her fire affinity, which is a rather unlikely scenario.
Days pass by, and Jasmine continues to spend most of her time locked in her room, thinking about how everything suddenly changed.
After 5 days, Jasmine once again asks her siblings about their parent’s return. Laurel and Azulia tell Jasmine that their parents have just returned so that she can ask them about all of her doubts now. After Jasmine leaves, Rowan expresses his discontent over Azulia’s provocations.
As Jasmine slowly approaches her father’s room, she starts to hear faint noises of arguments from the room. Upon reaching closer to the room, Jasmine learned that her parents were still arguing about her magic affinity. Jasmine’s Mother tries to convince her father that there must be some way for Jasmine to awaken fire affinity, but Jasmine’s Father, Trodius, refuses to accept that.
In a fit of anger, Trodius goes as far as to doubt that Jasmine is his daughter. Trodius’s anger is kinda justified here as his family, the Flamesworth family, is known for producing the finest fire-type mages the world has ever seen, and so a Flamesworth child turning out to be wind type is nothing short of an embarrassment.
Even though Trodius’s anger is justified, it is still too far-fetched for him to doubt his wife, that same wife who gave her everything for the sake of the family and supported Trodius for so long. Trodius throws the glass of wine in his hand towards his wife, but Jasmine finally decides to step in and catches the glass using her wind-type magic.
Trodius leaves the room in anger, and Jasmine walks up to her mother to check up on her. Much to her surprise, Jasmine finds that her mother has started to hate her because she got humiliated just because of Jasmine. Jasmine’s Mother gets furious and asks Jasmine to get out of her sight immediately. After hearing all the harsh words about her, Jasmine quietly leaves the room.
Jasmine walks out of the room and finds Azulia and Laurel. Azulia and Laurel try to guess what happened inside the room, and they come up with various interesting things in that process. Everything Azulia and Laurel guess is true, but nothing affects Jasmine now after what she has gone through.
At first, Azulia and Laurel make fun of Jasmine, but they soon start to consolidate her. They assure Jasmine that their parents have always been like this. They only love their child if they manage to fulfill their conditions. Azulia tells Jasmine that what she saw today is the reality of the Flamesworth family, so it’s a good thing that she learned about it.
Laurel and Azulia then leave after sharing their last piece of advice with Jasmine. Jasmine is then once again left all alone with her thoughts, trying to figure out what she did wrong.
