Swordmaster’s Youngest Son Chapter 65 Recap and Spoilers
Previously in the last episode, Alicia and Jin were talking about how the Aura shield ended up becoming a downfall rather than benefiting Alicia in the fight. Jin says how he was planning to attack from behind since the first match. They laugh together as Alicia says how proud she is of Jin.
As they are talking, a voice yells out for Jin, it is Murakan who shouts for Jin to call Tess right now. The blue flame attacks Murakan and Jin questions what is happening which is when he gets to know that it is not the real form of Tess as one can only see its real form in the Fire Realm. It is called the fire realm because not even the highest-ranking Gods know the real name of that place. It is so because the place is beyond the authority of the Gods. Even the Flame God Shinu cannot use the flames of the fire realm.
Murakan tells Jin that in the past, there was a time when several gods left the fire realm including Dragons like Quikantel and he himself. But a few gods started getting on Tess’s Nerves which resulted into Tess’s true powers coming out. Tess burnt five gods and several dragons on the spot. Jin asks how strong one has to be to be able to bring out Tess’s powers and Murakan says it is practically impossible to do so. No matter how strong you are, you cannot bring out all of his strength.
It does not matter what you are because you cannot bring out someone else’s powers from another world which was the reason why Gods from that world could not do anything. It is also why Tess is unable to use his full powers in this world. Murakan says that someone like Jin would be burnt alive how surprised they were that such an old man could fight as soon as Jin summoned him. But then he says how he would have not chosen Jin in the first place if that was his plan. Murakan tells Jin that the old man told him to tell Jin that he likes him. Jin thinks of how Tess’s blue flames would help him out when the Runcandel and Zipple families fight.
The scene cuts to 2nd January 1796 the lord talks about how Jin got chosen by Tess and how it is interesting. In the letter he reads about how Jin is getting alarmingly better at swordsmanship. He says how he allowed him to use magic and shadow energy, but he is a Runcandel. He says to khan to assassinate a pirate who is participating in Cosmos Competition. This competition is a fighting competition hosted by Pirates. He says how there will be a lot of eyes watching and Jin would not be able to use magic and shadow energy and would have to end up using his sword. He says how it would be a match with a genius who is polishing his swordsmanship.
The scene cuts back to Jin, he is asked to look at the Cosmos Competition’s application. The Dante Hairan is participating too. Cashmere tells him about how he would not get the chance to clash swords with Dante, the next head of the Hairan Family. Jin ends up deciding that he will participate. The second Jin says that he is told that he will have to travel alone to get to the competition.
The chapter ends with Jin thinking about the Cosmos Competition. It is a fighting competition where there are no restrictions on weapons so you can even end up killing your opponent. Even before the match starts, you can assassin or poison your opponent. He thinks about how he would never get another chance like this again.
