Surviving As a Maid Chapter 100 is going to be the next for the series and as the series approaches its 100th Chapter, Team Mio fans are all happy with the developments so far. Mio and Ash has been the most famous ship in the entire series and the last chapter showed signs that this ship might become official soon enough but we still await some response from the manhwa for some real answers.
Surviving As a Maid Chapter 99 was released on July 09, 2023, and it continued with Ash in despair after what happened at the dance. She has finally been dumped by Sir Seya which was shocking yet obvious as there were signs of Seya distancing himself from Ash all along the series.
Things were sad and depressing until Klein asked Mio to cheer Ash up and as these two get along more, their bond gets even stronger. With that being said, let’s start with a recap!
Surviving As a Maid Chapter 99: Recap
Klein finds Ash lying on the ground outside the palace and so he approaches her and says that she might get hurt. Ash replies that she has hurt her leg and so Klein picks her up in his arms. He asks Ash if something happened between her and Baron Romin but Ash says no and says that she wants to have a drink. Ash closes her eyes and leans on Klein and so he carries her to a safe place and says that he will get her something to drink.
Klein leaves Ash on the rooftop and soon as he leaves, Ash starts to feel weird and lonely with no one beside her but she thinks that she would also feel distressed if someone was by her side. Ash looks over the balcony and feels relieved thinking that there was someone who loved the queen in her lonely and miserable moments. She then falls to her knees and wonders why she feels so extremely sad and upset.
Suddenly Sir Mio enters the rooftop and says that Sir Klein left him with two bottles of wine and told him to console Ash. Mio asks Ash if she has a problem and Ash replies that the problem is that she is alive and breathing. Mio replies that self-torture doesn’t suit Ash but Ash thinks that this isn’t self-torture as she is in this place as Ash Tolkayn even though this place doesn’t belong to her(referring to her earlier life). Mio insists that Ash explains more or he won’t be able to comfort her.
Ash asks Mio if Klein asked him to comfort her and Mio replies that he asked him to not leave her alone as he believes that Ash won’t want to see his face. Ash feels sorry for Klein as he didn’t get to dance even though this was his day. She tells Mio that there was a guy she thought she had a thing going on with but now it’s over and she feels as if there wasn’t anything in the first place. Mio gets confused and asks what “thing” is she talking about.
Ash takes a sip out of the bottle and asks Mio if he knows what it feels like to be an alien. Mio says that he knows how it feels to be the only weak among the many but Ash thinks that he doesn’t know how it feels to have no one understand you no matter what you say and to speak a language different from everyone as this is exactly how Ash’s life is. Ash tells Mio that she may have been dumped by Sir Seya.
Mio says that Ash didn’t even like Sir Seya and Ash counters his question by asking him if he still loves that one person. Ash looks at the black ribbon on her hand and feels like she was the only one who put meaning behind it. Mio tells Ash that Ribbon doesn’t suit her dress and then removes it. He then gives Ash a precious bracelet he bought earlier.
Ash wonders why he didn’t give her the bracelet till now and Mio replies that it’s because he thought that she liked that black ribbon. Ash then places her hand above the bracelet which makes Mio think that she doesn’t want it but Ash smiles and asks him if he wouldn’t help her wear it.
